FANTASTIC performance by the Pershing's Own Band! All these musicians are truly world-class, and each of the featured trombonists were absolutely outstanding! As a fellow trombonist, I am honored that the band would host an event to feature trombones so prominently - well done US Army!!!

Beautiful music, and it is beautifully performed. I hope the Army band will broadcast a Christmas or holiday Concert on the Public Broadcasting Channel. Afterall PBS is paid for with the AMERICAN PEOPLE'S TAX MONEY. Actually , that would be a fantastic recruiting tool.

Schoenberg type music has its place (1selection), but so do appropriate choices from the Classical, to the "American Songbook"; from Stephen Foster all the way to Broadway, and beyond. Also, symphonic music, ie., Aaron Copeland excerpts. These are all masterpieces, of our origins and heritage, in my opinion. Of course, always highlighting the musicians' skills and instruments you have access to at any given time. Thanks for a lovely concert.
