Absolutely ridiculous pricing .... and people call Ducati's overpriced ..... u can get a DesertX for the same money.... and let's be honest...the DX is head and shoulders better than the 660. I don;t see Aprilia selling more than 10 of these in India ... in the next 10 years.

original price is 12000 dollars around 10 lacs but due to import of whole its price after tax went to 20 lacs

The bike was released in 2022. It's definitely over priced in India and that may be due to customs. Because in Europe it's almost half the sticker price quoted here and you can get good used one for rather cheap. They have sold a lot of these in competition to the T7. The Ducati Desert X is 50% more expensive than Tuareg in other markets. As for the bike, it's absolutely sublime(currently ride one) and highly capable motorcycle; see Brake Magazine review (there are plenty others). I have thrashed and dropped the bike so many times on trails and it just keeps on going. At 200kgs wet it's lighter than most other adv bikes but it's still heavy. It loves to rev and has a smooth engine, suspension is outstanding with time perhaps a better spring. I wished the AJP PR7 comes to India soon the perfect bike for adv/trails and more closer to dual sport.

Dirt bike meets Africa Twin. Great bike, but not value for money. There are several options in the 18L price range that are more powerful and feature packed. After sales service is also a question mark.....
