Great review, perfect duration, almost everything covered. Maybe in other videos cover some things like shortcuts, or how to call somebody using only the buttons or scroll wheel from the steering wheel, change tracks/radio stations also from the steering wheel.
The first thing I did was setup shortcuts to turn off all the "assist" BS. The level of warnings, bings and bongs from the 2024 MMI is just ridicules. It's very distracting and dangerous!
It slows down your car if there is a car in front, but it also works as part of a system to keep you at the limit if you set it to match the speed limit automatically.
Any idea if flight info is still available? Everything seems to working in my car, but can't find flight info. :) Would be real handy as I need to pick up family regularly at the airport! (i have audi connect and infotainment plus). Cool video, nicely filmed :)
Just done this on my Q3 and learnt so many things thanks so much. Bought the car with a sonos sound system and only just found out I can turn the subwoofer on and bass up xD
Great video, but now allegedly we can add Apple Music as an online streaming service directly in the MMI, like you’re seeing around @1:46 but mine doesn’t seem to work. Can you please post a video with how that’s configured? I try to add it and when the MMI gives me the option to “log in”, I push the button, it tries for some 10 seconds and just shows a “You could not be logged in! Please try later” message
I have found it to be intermittent and to keep logging out; I would suggest contacting Audi Digital support and seeing what they say. However, you can only stream through the car's built-in SIM and you can't tether to your phone OR use Wi-Fi so you would very quickly run out of data.
Hi, does anyone know where the USB port is on the new 22 A3 to plug your own music into please? The new car seems to have 2 x C type connectors at the front only? Great video by the way, thanks.
The one in our S3 ,shuts down after its been parked in hot sun ,when you start up car ,stops working ,believe is due to over heating ,Audi NZ ,advices to buy sun shade for wind screen ,have you got any Experience with this problem ,
I wish it was so warn in England that this was a problem! Seriously though that doesn’t sound right. If the infotainment turned off in hot countries then Audi would have a problem.

I don’t know if you have watched my other videos on the RS3 but I said that I don’t agree with it. It isn’t right. And Audi should be focussed on building cars for customers. As you may know some people do have Vorsprung saloons on the way already from Germany meanwhile mine is due October 22!
@@TechInTheCar I’ve watched a few of your rs3 videos. Very informative. I’ve considered upgrading my 2016 rs3 but I would want a launch edition but not willing to pay the massive premium dealers are charging.
Do you mean your odometer? (which shows the total distance the car has driven?). You can change the display to map etc, but that will remain in certain modes.
@@TechInTheCar Do you mean change view to boomerang or runway? I had the right dial not showing nav (while a route guidance was running) last night...perfect... but can't remember what I did to make that happen.
Audi don’t update the systems on the cars yet but from time to time they will put out a software fix which may include some changes. But I can’t say if this car has one or if there would be any changes; you would have to ask your dealer and I imagine they will say no.
Have you got a build date for your Vorsprung yet ? Apparently, there’s one arriving on Autotrader next week. Find that a bit bizarre especially when it’s not an Audi dealership.
Press the power button on the round volume touch sensitive wheel by shifter to turn the screen and MMI on and off. It automatically turns on and off with the car.
I didn’t check the glovebox. However the manual does NOT show any means of using an SD card or DVD at all. It looks like it has to be using a USB adaptor.

Feedback - was going well, just what I wanted after getting my RS3 this week (18 month wait). Then halfway through, you switch over to the dash display and stop showing us how you're changing everything! Not very helpful at all. Maybe do another video and show us what you're doing? Thanks.
It is because the camera went out of focus :) If you see a sudden switch in general it is normally because there was a technical issue. What do you want to know what to do?
@@TechInTheCar I know you can plug a USB flash drive in the USB port, which can then play downloaded songs and videos, however not all video formats seem to play. So far, I've been able to play an .mpeg file and some .avi file types (not all). Is there a list of acceptable video file types that the mmi system will play?
@@fzr1000981 That's wrong. You CAN change it so that both RS Individual and RS Performance permanently display the round dials. The car saves the setting as well. The runway is God awful. I changed my display as I was collecting the car!
omg so much uselles stuff and battons. i just got mine with b&o sound system and its the wors sound i ever heard. omg the 8 speakers system is much much better. in b&o you hear only 4 front speakers and woofer. you don hear rear speakers its like you don not have speaker on the back. i like music i hear music all ay long that why i pay audi for b&o system and omg its the worst i just want to reapoff my ears. i am wondering maybe they deliver me mia a3 with problem on the b&o system. is there way for to find out?

Probably the car was built in 2021 when it wasn't an option Audi offered - although wireless CarPlay was available lots sooner than wireless Android Auto. There were plenty of Audi models which has wireless CarPlay and wired Android Auto.
@@TechInTheCar i don't think it was built in 2021 because all audi cars are out of stock in my country,showrooms are empty.and i bought mine just a month ago.So yeah i am stuck with wired carplay or i have to paid tuners to get it.
