These German brands need to come to the table in South Africa, we are looking for value for money, so we will go for the Chinese brands, things are tough and we can't afford basic cars at that price.
Some of them will leave the country I'm telling you. BMW will most likely remain because that plant in Rosslyn makes cars for the international market as well.
Even 500K is a lot because there's still a lot that you get from that price point from the competition. They really did not put any effort into this car whatsover. I'm sure that new one is going to be north of a million for the top spec. The Germans are relaxed when it comes to specking cars. No wonder the Chinese guys are having such a great holiday with car sales in SA. I just fear that they'll wake up late like Nokia did with their phone inventions and when they woke up it was chai.
With these creature comforts you mention, do they not come as optional extra? I know Audi is notorious for their overpriced optional extras that are standard on other brands of whips in same category. 7/10 is exxxtremely generous by you. Y’all complain when Mercedes sells a much more premium GLA 200 with a better infotainment system and features for R840K. So here’s a less premium Audi Q2 with an outdated Interior and less features for R750K. 😄
If we are all honest Audi don't seem to be keeping up with their fellow German competition, namely BMW and Mercedes Benz. For example the A4 can't compete with the current 3 series and C-Class. The Q5 can't compete with the X3 and GLC and even the A6 is difficult to justify against it's two new rivals i.e the 5 Series and the E-Class.

Audi dropped the ball with that car from the specs, their attempts to a "new" and worse the price tag. Giving it 7/10 is like giving that toxic ex a third chance to the relationship. Not worth the struggle
The Suzuki Fronx costs less than R300k... That's all I'm gonna say. And it goes head to head with the Q2 (spec for spec)... Someone please make it make sense 😐 Nothing about the Germans make sense anymore.
The current Q2 is just Audi stealing children’s money. It is long in the tooth and way overdue for an upgrade. I don’t know how people still spend their money on this car. Worst car in the Audi range.
What a bland interior. So underwhelming. The infotainment and digital display is a positive for me. Too many cars with too much touch screen. But that's about it. Not too much to write about about. Definitely nothing to excite a buyer. Not worth it's price.
