EV aside, the thing I’ve always liked about Audis is their grip. I had an A4 Cabriolet and it was always so grippy, even in rain, it never slipped. They’ve mastered Quattro for awhile now.
5800lbs?! Holy Eff me. Hmm MAYBE just maybe if they found a way to lower the weight.....Id love to try to get excited about Audis, but after our 3 disasters (2010 S4, 2016 TT roadster and 2016 A7) being so problematic and all 3 dealers in our area being so poor I just cant. I do love the RS6 Avant though. Oh well
Why does an EV need a grill? At this point, carmakers really need to revise their design philosophy. Anyway, there's nothing about an EV that would make it worth that kind of money. Paying more for all those compromises doesn't even make any sense. Who's buying these cars anyway?
I think Audi may consider morphing the next-gen Q8 e-tron from a mid-size 2-row EUV to a full-size 3-row one just to make room for the mid-size Q6 e-tron which would fight the Cadillac Lriq, BMW iX, Mercedes EQE SUV (a.k.a. GLE EV), and Lotus Eletre.
@@mattydomingoDon’t be so sure of yourself. Go try getting everyone with a car in NYC in an electric vehicle anytime soon. Ain’t gonna happen, not with the current lack of infrastructure
Maybe NYC will catch up with the rest of the developed world one day. Here in Prague parking garages have EV charging stations. Parking spots in the city center have EV charging stations. Flats around Prague have EV charging stations.....@@BabyBugBug
@@stevemcgowenIf you’ve ever been to NYC, you’d know that would be almost impossible. The city is far too dense to allow for it. They’ve tried with some street parking with charging stations, but they’re ridiculously expensive. I see no possible way for the city to install these en masse. I’m from San Francisco, and even there I had problems charging a rental Tesla. I had to pay a parking garage a whole day’s worth of parking just to find one. Superchargers are only in suburban areas, largely. For a relatively moderate density place like Prague, sure it is fine. But for real mega cities this is a serious problem.
