I’m putting in high end bathrooms in my house, three done & one to go. I use Rubberduck bathrooms, Amazon, eBay, plus using the internet to search out the best deals. I’m buying stuff like Grohe for taps, showers & wall hung toilets. I also use tile mountain for tiles. Interesting point, Homebase came out very bad, but I got a super deal on Elements boards with waterproofing kit from them.

I should really revamp the bathroom, so thanks for doing the homework for me Nick. I never buy anything online....I much prefer to see, touch and decide for myself if the quality is good. A Rethink ensues.....!

We kitted out our new bathroom from Victorian Plumbing, and I have to say we’ll never buy from them again - the quality was awful, absolutely no longevity (toilet seat, bathroom tap and bath plug all broke within two years) and the customer service was dreadful.

Hi, if from scratch with new pipework and 1st and 2nd fitting between £2k and 2.5k I would estimate.

As a house buyer, the vogue for installing luxury bathrooms is becoming as exasperating as garden decking. I've lost count of the number of houses I've viewed where valuable space is taken up by surplus bathrooms, where all the baths are too damn short to lie down in or replaced entirely by showers, where the plumbing sprays onto the floor and the floor is not waterproof and attic conversions where the only dormer window is wasted in the ensuite leaving claustrophobic living space. And you have to pay £30k extra for all these "improvements" and another £20k to have them all put right. PLEASE STOP ruining our housing!
