As someone with 3 blue geared carracks, and owning all 4, it's worth it to keep pushing. It takes about 3 months to get a carrack grinding gear which is now actually faster due to the changes they've made. 2 days or so to get 1 piece of green gear and slapping it to +10. Not sure why you're dooming getting carracks for people but it's not actually as bad as you say it is. You're also not showing you can load up to 10 inno sailors on it, which would give you speed if that's what you're really looking for. Lastly, you're not even using all maxed sailors so this isn't even a real representation of what a base carrack Valor can do with no gear. I encourage you to keep pushing...it's not that bad. Edit: You missed 2 cannon balls shooting that Hekaru otherwise you would have 1 shot it. Come on man...you're not even trying to like the content.
I don't understand either why needed +10 blue gear on Caravel to get empty Carrack, in this case we should keep full upgraded Caravel or Galleass and barter until we stack 40k crow coins to pre-buy Carrack equipments. Its insane, the purpose that people grind for Carrack is to get those things much faster but instead you wake up finding that your new Carrack is even worse then Full previous ship xD So at this point I'm gonna get blue gear for Caravel and keep the ship until they change something, bartering is booring and takes insane amount of time, combat on Sea is not good and more annoying is looting on top of dead bodies instead of big range loot, but all of this have a purpose and that is to fill the time for this content.
like i said in the video those 6 moths are only if you do the quest and not barter at all .Not all ppl enjoy to barter in my experience it is very boring
I read some of these comments, and you seem to blame everything except yourself. I'm a somewhat newer player with only 7 months in, i'm also a casual player. In 7 months i've managed to get 675gs, tet manos hunting clothes with all tri manos accessories and 1 tet ring. Just this past month ive managed to get 3857 barters and finish making a carrack valor. Let me emphasize again, I am a casual and it took me a month to make a carrack. Yes the bartering isn't enjoyable to do, but you can literally just semi afk it. Yes you spend alot of time doing nothing and yes you should throw on a movie, tv show, or play a second game on a second monitor. If you don't have a second monitor then tab bdo. On windows 11 I just split the screen so I'm able to watch which island im at as well as play a second game. You should have just stuck it out for a month instead of wasting 6 months of your own time. Get your barters out of the way and then go grind whatever else you want the rest of the day. Anyways I took the time to research on my free time between barters and when I wasn't playing bdo. If you have 20 minutes to make a video, you have 20 minutes to research. I get that you're frustrated, but you could have gone into this with a more prepared mindset if you had done more research and realized that carrack does like zero damage until you gear it. I learned that even before I started making a galleass. You could have joined the sailing discord or joined sailies and asked other captains about the process and what to expect. Also, oceans are supposed to be vast and mostly empty. They arent cities, but I do agree that they should add in more sea monster zones, and maybe throw in some more boss areas. It could be better I agree. I'm sorry sailing didn't meet up to your expectations and didn't work out for you. Hopefully you're able to find something else you enjoy, but please do your research before you jump head first into something. It will save you the time and disappointment in the future. Sorry i got 6 min in an all I can say is skill issue. You went in to a grind unprepared and without understanding of how to achieve the goal you set. You made the mistake of setting a goal under the mindset of "I just need to get here and it will be all fine" your tried to sprint in a marathon without even warming up. Nothing > galleass/caravel takes 1 day not 2 months. galleass/caravel full gear takes on the high end 3 months but can be done in about 20 days if you grind it. Upgrading to carrack at this point is pointless, use the blue+10 galleass/caravel to farm the crow coins and buy the green gear and make it +10 THEN you make the carrack. Ofc this is all hindsight fr you now so all you can do is... play the game and get the gear.
Also the Panokseon is not a guild ship, it is a player ship like the carrack. ALSO you where the hell is you life skill gear? basically no mastery from your gear, no lightstones too...
Well like i said in the video ,i did not expect a carrack whiteout any gear to be more weaker then a full upgrade blue gear galleass that makes absolute no sens at all. I was expecting to be at least at the same firepower after all the carrack have 9 guns per side. I also said in the video that i did not barter at all and most of the players refuse to do barter because it is very boring and consume a lot of time and also alot of rng is there also. And this point of view is from the casual players experience that does not have a lot of time to research and search the web. Let's not forget that this is a game after all not a full job .
@@BitterJane You are absolute right i was right about the Panokseon it is my bad. I had the same gear on my Gallenass and also the same gear on my Carrack that was the test ....and a full upgrade Gallenass that is 1 tier lower then the Carrack does more damage and also the AOE is bigger then a Carrack whiteout any gear
I agree to this. Not min/maxing sailors, not even loading the boat with all the sailors it's capable of holding. No life skill gear, no lightstones. This guy is literally hurting himself and making a video discouraging people from sea content because it "sucks".
@@MyBeardBetter he even said that the actual act of sailing sucks so... idk how in the 4/5 months he said it took him to make the carrack he wasn't able to come to the conclusion he didn't even like sailing.
