The big complaint I have with the LCI is that they took away the gear shift lever on the M60i. As a “M” version they should have kept it.

Another cost cutting. It uses less material parts. The 8 short cut buttons to idrive menu were also gone to reduce the cost and dependence from semiconductors.

Even though it has the same power as the M50i, I feel like the S68 is more responsive in the M60i. Does that sound right? I drove an X7 M60i and it moved for a big car!

Hard work and smart decisions. I never could until I made the smart decision to go to a tech school vs a stupid university where you pay to take useless classes that brainwash you. My entire highet education cost me 26k and I make about 120k a year. Needless to say, I'll be getting one of these beauties in about 4 months

I really hate the new all buttons on the screen trend, recently traded in my Mk7 Golf R to Mk8 Golf R, 5months in I missed all my physical buttons more and more.

The most important change is that it has the same power but gained extra 170 kg more than the pre-sci and the fuel consumption has also increased. In addition, it lost the laser headlight and pretty much every controls have moved to the display to save the money.

False. The 2024 X5 M60i weighs 5,355 lbs, and the older X5 M50i weighs 5,260 lbs. That is a 43kg difference. The difference is negligible. I am quite sure there is more power in the new engine, especially since it is hybrid.

@@DMCarReviews The Australian specs are as following; The fuel consumption is M50i : 11.5L/100km 263g/km M60i: 12.5L/100km 283g/km M60i became heavier to 2420 Kg from M50i 2250kg. I saw the weight of M60i when I build the car. The s68 engine power is same as N63 but it has the hybrid motor, that’s why both can sprint 0-100 km/h in 4.3 sec.

@@DMCarReviews Another shock is that X5 M comp LCI (3.9sec) is 0.1 sec slower than the pre LCI X5 M comp (3.8sec) The both x6m comp pre lci and lci can sprint in 3.8 sec. So more fuel consumption and heavier in the LCI because of more emission related devices attached.

The below was at the release but prior to 8.5 from complaints. Latest-generation BMW iDrive, new digital services. The latest-generation BMW iDrive tech based on BMW Operating System 8 brings both the BMW Curved Display and an array of new digital services to the BMW X5 and BMW X6. The standard BMW Live Cockpit Plus also includes the cloud-based navigation system BMW Maps. And the optional BMW Live Cockpit Professional also treats customers to the BMW head-up display and Augmented View function. When the car is stationary, the driver and front passenger can also stream content from RU-vid and access the Bundesliga in-car app (for content from Germany’s top football league) on the control display. The optional BMW Digital Key Plus enables customers to lock and unlock their new BMW X5 or BMW X6 via security-enhanced ultra-wideband (UWB) radio technology with compatible smartphones running the iOS or Android operating system. I've customized a 2024 X5 M60i build with every single option, but it doesn't list the option for the cooled/heated cup holders, instead it has the cheapest one as shown in this video. I asked the dealer about this and they couldn't find the option anywhere available even if customized with the dealer~! This car is a luxury car and higher class than Mercedes in luxury features but also handling and performance.

It's has the Top spec Bower Wilkins Hi-fi, Top spec leather seats, top spec blinds, top spec trim, heated rear seats, top spec sunroof, the horrible crystal I don't like. @@florianwiegand1313 This has the Full Leather, Yes notice Heated Cooled Cup but that's it. (mine will not have this as in Australia you have to have the girly glass stuff too and not available standalone :-( ), But Air Suspension is a down grade, this comes standard with M Suspension PRO that's better, you can get soggy air for a no cost option ( But might be market dependent?). this video has sky-lounge too I'm sure as with the annoying dots on glass as I didn't order that too and getting in July. We have some nice cars coming in enjoy

@@Digga_10 Your just justifying not ordering the car fully loaded :-) As a German, I want my M60 fully loaded and I prefer the air suspension over M Pro. The M60 is a highway cruiser, if you want Sport buy the true M version

Australian spec is already loaded Would be great to be able to choose items individually like I think you can. Here have to buy in a pack Glass DELETE made for the ladies Skylounge DELETE Vented Seats WANTED :-/ Comfort seats DELETE like Sport Massage DELETE So didn't get because really really didn't want the other things. X5M can't afford Gesture REJECT AND LAUGH
