Just picked up the near exact same model. I have only driven it 200 miles so far so just in learn mode. What I can definitely say is that in my 50 some years of driving this is the most comfortable driving car I’ve ever had. Totally impressed. Good review!

is it worth getting the v8, the X6 ? What puts me off is that the V8 would have the same fuel tank but miserable mileage, I would be at a gas station twice as often

For the hands free, the flashing yellow is signaling you to grab the wheel with both hands because it is detecting you not paying attention. So basically, you should be focused on the road only and not going through the control panel. It also may indicate the lane is too narrow and deactivate the hands free option.
