We've been wanting to make some changes to Riley's bike and I finally took a look at all the parts in the garage and we decided to change her wheels. We figured this change would lighten the rotational mass a little making it easier to spin the back wheel. We also are planning to jump her gear up one tooth to a 45/16. This extra roll out along with the lighter wheel should allow her to exert the same effort and get more forward movement per stroke.
Also in this video she is doing some good old, down home wrenching and learning how to work on her bike. The tires I had on the Alienation hoops were locked into the retainers which makes it incredibly hard to unseat... the struggle is real.
