LTC Cook-Askins, and the Riverside Prep Cadets Corps hosted the California Cadet Corps' 18th Brigade Pass in Review this past Friday. The 18th Brigade Consist of 11 schools from across the High Desert, with the Brigade Headquarters being Riverside Preparatory School. The event celebrated the accomplishments of cadets across the High Desert who won awards at this year’s State Drill competition.
Riverside Prep was one of the top performing schools at the State Championship Drill Competition, held at Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base, earning the following designations:
🥇1st Place Middle School Color Guard, State of California
🥈2nd Place Middle School Armed Squad, State of California
🥉3rd Place Middle School Armed Individual Drill Down, State of California
🥈2nd Place High School Unarmed Platoon, State of California
🥉3rd Place High School Color Guard, State of California
