These are really nice cars and great looking IMO and pretty good value for $. However the 2.0L is way underpowered for a car of this price. The V6 is much better. I'm surprised the 325 HP 2.7L isn't the base motor or at least an option.
@@michaelquinn8618 GM always shared platforms. All companies do . This has its own Cadillac Divisions technology, enhancements. It's on a Camaro chassis.
@@moth450 Actually this car is based on the Camaro's RWD Alpha platform which is a very good chassis. It shares nothing with the FWD Malibu except perhaps you are correct that the mirrors come out of the same parts bin? Not sure if that's the case and don't really care if it is. I agree the 2.0L is inadequate, I would get the V6 but these are very nice cars to drive because they are RWD based with longitudinally mounted engines so they don't drive like FWD grocery getters. Now the XT4 on the other hand is based on the Malibu platform and its apparent when you drive it because they drive like every other mundane FWD car on the road.
