I really love how far you've come along! I've been watching KBB for more than a decade now, remembering the times pre-Micah through Zach and with the intro of Lyn and now you Mike...there are sooooo many review channels that are out there but you guys are by far my favorite and have been for all these years. I personally hope that Cadillac updates the XT6 in similar ways. Great review Mike Danger!
Finally! Thid interior refresh is what the xt4 needed. Now if they could immediately update the xt6 the lineup would be flawless. A more powerful powertrain option wouldn't hurt either.
I own a '24 XT4 Sport, having traded a '21 XT4 Sport. The difference is amazing! The ride & handling have been significantly refined! The '24 is much quieter! Two differences: (1) No HD radio on the '24. (2) No sensors on the front bumper, so be careful with stationary objects in front of you! Overall, the '24 is definitely in another league in ride and handling! Performance is great! Seems the engine and transmission have been more tightly entwined. Smooth performance! A Cadillac luxury vehicle to be proud of!
Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video looking forward to seeing this luxurious crossover, I work at a funeral home we have the XT5 stretched to a hearse
If they would just make performance models of these. Granted it would probably be easier to convert the Alpha 2 chassis into an SUV than to make a performance model out of a Chevy Malibu chassis. But adding in the 2.5t from the new Traverse would be a great choice for the current model. But if it had the Alpha 2 chassis than the 2.7t would be the better option.
I rented a 2020 one from Avis (it wasn't intentional, they upgraded me), and my GF and I both loved it. The backup cam being offset and the brake pedal being almost 3 inches up from the gas pedal was not fun, but other than that it was wonderful. I just don't trust American cars enough to buy one.
@@BTC909 yeah, it really wears your ankle out after a bit of driving in city traffic. No idea if the new one has that, but if they fixed those two issues, as a rental, I'd say it might be worth it. As for ownership, I'd prefer a Toyota RAV4 Sport AWD, or something else fairly reliable.
These just look so cheap inside and out, The problem with Cadillacs is they look and feel like cars somewhere between a basic car and European luxury cars it just feels like a higher trim basic car. Cadillac has been around for decades , Genesis has far less history and got thr luxury formula right with so little experience smh
While I may be biased because I build these, I think the Xt4 fits in great with its rivals. The buttons all have a satisfying feel to them. They don't feel cheap. While I think some things could be different like some of the plastics are harder and a little cheap looking. That's usually in areas that are not touched as often. But as someone who works on the line in Kansas City and builds these, I can say I think GM engineers fit and finish nicely. But for the price vs. the Germans, I'd take the Cadillac. We build these cars well. What we can't control is who GM gets the parts from. I hope that if you are in the market for one, you look at it and drive it. They drive pretty well for being an entry level luxury suv.
