Official wrap-up video! The 12th Children's Art + Literacy Festival presented by the Abilene Cultural Affairs Council in downtown Abilene, Texas, celebrated the art of LeUyen Pham, whose original artwork went on display June 13, 2024 at the National Center for Children's Illustrated Literature (NCCIL). The four-day festival celebrated LeUyen's books and characters with the Storybook Parade, Storybook Sculptures unveiling, Sketch with LeUyen, dramatic readings, train rides, performances and costumed characters! The festival ended Sunday with CALF at the Zoo, where registrants could wear the festival pass and enter the Abilene Zoo for free and experience additional programming. The 2024 CALF was enjoyed by 5,458 people from 156 Texas cities and 28 states who had their own childhood adventure in the Storybook Capital of America®. Title Sponsor: Clear Fork Bank.
