The first one reminded me of a campervan holiday to the Isle of Skye it was 1980 and I was 5. It wasn't quite so posh, you needed to pump water with a footpump.... Keep posting, love your content.
very keen on the 640 diversity - unfortunately haven't found any in stock to view in the Uk - but keen to place an order soon as it seems 18 month is typical wait time
Our 2019 Malibu GT Charming Skyview 640 is virtually identical, but cost almost £30,000 less than the current model. At the time it seemed very expensive, but compared to todays price list it was a heck of a bargain.
Inflation of prices through demand and costs has really rocketed. We ordered a 640 version at the NEC last October, with a delivery date of April 2024! Fortunately fixed the price with a small refundable deposit. I reckon it’s gone up about 20% in the past year….
My Malibu has nets up the corner! Not (yet) had a problem with the sliding toilet. The bar thing above the bed isn’t the most useful but for putting things in at night like my glasses or on my wife’s side her collection of medications. There is also storage under the half dinette seats, don’t know about in all models but should be in the 640s. Dog food in ours.
I can tell you what I get but I am a careful driver, who does not accelerate rapidly and is gentle on the brake.I get around 29mpg (US) or 35 mpg (UK).
That's a lot of money. People who bought new 4/5 years ago will probably get their money back now if they've not put too much miles on the clock. Now if the prices drop in a few years then anyone buying at these inflated prices will be in for a big loss. Is it the wrong time to buy but the right time to sell !!
