I'm seeing more and more of the Omoda 5 on the road lately! Pretty eager to start seeing some Australian coverage of the electric E5 once it's _finally_ available for us.
I’m surprised that no one has mentioned the narrow 215 spec tyres when looking from both the front and back of the car that IMHO cheapens the Omoda’s looks.A set of 235’s or 245’s would give the Omoda a much more aggressive and planted stance that would match the rest of the car.
I’m from Mexico 🇲🇽 and Chery is starting to operate in the country under the name Chirey because somehow the name Chery is already registered here… anyway, it’s a great car and all, I went to the a dealer to see this suv along with other cars they brought like the Tiggo 7 pro, I test drove them and they feel quite good, BUT, they are having some quality issues like the infotainment system, gearbox and some suspension components, even though they are offering them whit a 10 year, 1 million miles warranty which only covers some of the internal engine parts like pistons, crankshafts and so on. It’s shame because they actually look alright, I hope they fix the troubles they been having

I have the Omoda E5 (EV) for 2 months and it's a very good car especially for EV at this price point. The ride is better, the interior is better and ofcourse the power is way better than the GT one.
@@myhoanggia3589 I don't have any problem with my car. The wireless charger is working perfectly, the ride is still smooth, no rattling sound, no mechanical problem. Just like any normal car. 👌
@@myhoanggia3589 you're welcome. I never use any of the assist thing, I even turn off the emergency brake assist before driving. I did this not only on my omoda E5 but also on my other cars.
I've got a relative who loves German cars and is prepared to wear Japanese brands as marketed. However, he sees buying Chinese brands as non patriotic. We've had two World War with Germany and one with Japan and none with China although it's known for 'sabre rattling'. Which we reciprocate. I see Chinese brands like so many other products we consume. So Chery is okay with me.
Almost All new Chinese cars today provide 7 years warranty with unlimited km, Cheaper price with more feature. What do you expect? Soon China will sell high price car same feature with benz s class
Honestly. I think this is a good car for it's people and unfortunately I'm not one of them. I'd even choose the Beijing over this Omoda. It's bigger and has a better value proposition, in my opinion.
Thanks for the video . Looking at getting a new car next year and these look neat!! Son in Law said that parts would near impossible to get in New Zealand does anyone know if that's true?
Wireless charging but only wired connectivity. Stupid and typical of the fake luxury tech of Chinese cars. I wanted to like these cars but there are too many compromises for forty k
4:25 So-called Omoda GT exhaust sounds like a steam engine whistle but weak as Daewoo Kalos/Holden Barinas; FWD Omoda is so boring but 4WD Omoda is for hoons for drag racing and off the road get covered in mud.
Seeing the thumbnail at first glance, I thought that you might have reviewed Tata Harrier but then after having a close look on it, I realised that it's actually a smaller & pathetic looking Chinese copycat version of Harrier 😂
I sincerely request you to search for the ‘Baojun 510’ a Chinese car born in 2016.And then, please evaluate whether the ‘Tata Harrier’ this advanced and prestigious car, is indeed a Indian pathetic copycat version of it.😊
