Hello bo maseve, This vehicle is very lovely and impressive, I think it is a car you should short list. I hope you enjoy the review, please don't forget to watch the ads too! #roadto30k #chery #cherytiggo8
It would be interesting to see how the Tiggo 8 will perform in the used car market in the next few years and how well it would hold its value compared to the competitors. Great review 👏
I have the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max AWD and I had it wrapped PINK. Its absolutely beautiful, The interior is exactly the same as the Tiggo 8 Pro Max. The 'you have been distracted' warning it annoying, especially when I have shades on and I haven't been able to switch it off. The drive is absolutely lovely I took it for young road trip and it was a beast on the road. I'm loving it and still getting to know my pink baby...You don't have to use a cable to connect to apple carplay I haven't even used a cable in the car (apple car play is wireless and wireless charging works perfectly). Chery is really doing the things with its cars
I like almost everything about this car ...Audi and mercedes in one 💁🏿♂️...the only things I don't like about it is what you've mentioned 1. fuel consumption ,2. Spare wheel😂I was in Benoni they stole it,3. The over reacting safety systems. This car ticks many boxes 👍❤
Well, well., well I fully concur with you on the looks and the "amenities" that come defaulted at such a low price, and I also would buy this car, without bating an eye. Good review, overall! Nonetheless, I think they would have given the exhaust sound a big of an assertive note to match the four pipes at the rear. But then again, that's a bit of nitpicking. Everything is quite adorable 'here'!
Great car, well specced, a lot of power and space! The price is just right for what it offers. It’s better than that other Japanese car that’s asking for R1.05m ka 1.5L CVT! Great job Chery
Love this. Chinese brands are certainly making a strong entrance into mzansi. And when Empress Reba is impressed, who are we mere mortals to overrule her?
I'm honestly with Reba on the fact that I don't like the spare wheel placement but at least it gets a full size one while some 7 seaters won't give u one at all
This car I prefer it's interior more than its exterior it looks luxurious and the seats are soft they're are plush. The quad exhaust is an overkill since it doesn't even come close to making it look sporty. Even if they were hidden it wouldn't hurt. As for the driver monitoring safety system it would be better to cut it off completely unless you're driving a long distance and needs something that would remind you to focus especially when those quick accidental naps starts attacking you.
I'm driving a Tiggo 8 pro, very thirsty I tell you. I've had the car for 2 years now. City driving is ranging around 10.5 L/100km. Only gets to 7L per 100km when you are on an open road. I love the car, drives nice just except for the lag when you hit the accelerator, it feels like the engine sleeps and wakes up after a couple of seconds, when it comes back oh in launches and pushes you back to the sit😂😂
I’d love to see a reliability discussion from you Reba, discussion topic from fuel economy, capacity, quality build, safety and what’s good for SA roads. Thank you, I enjoy this channel
@@RebaSCars thank you. I feel addicted to your reviews because I can relate from a few rentals in the past. Careful watching before I make a decision. Thank you so much. Wait for more content
Chery actually sends updates on their cars' systems, which owners get to do at the dealerships. Apparently it adjusts the car's drivetrain in order to improve petrol consumption.
I just recently saw the pics of the 2025 Tiggo 4 pro and it looks pretty much like this in the interior. I'm curious to hear whet you think of the styling. Cuz to me it looks like it's less cute and more sophisticated
I gotta be one of the OutSurance guys to get some attention la...😂 Interesting car, but I'd give the Cherry 5 more years to see how well they hold up in the market.
I've been loving your reviews on the cherys but there's just a feature you forgot to mention I noticed on the 4pro I haven't watched this video finished as yet so not sure if you mentioned it here but all the ranges of the tiggo come with voice Comand and remote start as well.
From driving the tiggo 7 pro, I think the “fuel consumption goes lower after first service” statement might actually be true as I’ve been keeping track of the one in the tiggo 7 and it’s been going down ever since…. Or is me getting better with driving it nicely instead of that “new car driving” type of driving (bo quick acceleration, speeding etc)
If the car has to go back all the way down to 3rd or 4th from 7th to be able to overtake on the highway, it clearly does not have enough torque for its size so it relies on the peak power of the KWs.
It's a nice car, but can't be compared to a Japanese: Honda, Toyota and Mazda or the Koreans with the Kia and Hyundai. Refinement, resell value and all general, tried and tested, proven to be bullet proof. If i was looking at this price point i would look elsewhere hence I keep my cars for longer . Anyways in the current economic climate. Manufacturers that offer Value for money would survive hence the implosion of Chinese manufacturers. What does it mean for our own manufacturers who make cara for the domestic and export market and employes South Africans. Please review the Mazda CX60 inline6. I love that car. It came out with alot of issues hopefully the software updated sorted those out.
