Nice looking front end. Nice blue color. I like that there are now black plastic wheel well trim pieces. At $30,000 plus dollars I think it is a great value for a single person, college student or just running errands around ton. A nicely laid out dash and has just about everything you will need to view or set. The seat pattern is good looking. Nice to have a spare tire. Seems to drive, handle and brake nicely. Thanks for another nice review, Mike.
Older design with quite a lot of content upgrades to make it more competitive A very popularcar in Michigan and Ohio. I would have concerns about engine reliability with turbo and direct injection. Would choose non-turbo and 8- injector 2.5 L models, either a Kia Sportage or Hyundai Tucson base vehicles. Key is synthetic oil and 3,000 mile or 3 month oil change intervals. Very good, realistic review overall!
No telescoping wheel?...in 2024?...I'm pretty sure just about everything sold now has a tilt AND telescoping steering wheel...are you sure about that? This Equinox has been around since 2018 and is in desperate need of an update to keep it competitive (I understand the 2025 is new but no changes to the drivetrain which it also needs). "Gets the job done" is hardly a ringing endorsement...I'd be looking elsewhere unless the new model is more compelling.
