Start researching the dealers. Move your order to one that doesn't do markups. Not all of the dealerships are greed driven only. Some of them actually care about their customers and future loyalty to the Chevrolet brand rather than burning as many customers as they can get away with for short term gain. If they price keep pushing people out of the market for the car, they will keep losing customers to those who don't.

Yea hundreds of thousands of preorders and they are doing promo's. It's like offering a sale with low inventory which Chevy did all through the pandemic. Promo guy can get laid off until they start taking new orders and need to actually do promo's

I also want the RS and I have a pre-order in with a dealer that I trust. The greediest dealers are adding anywhere from $2500 to over $9000 in some parts of in Florida and California even to less expensive cars like the Bolt EUV these days and that car tops out at under $40k before tax incentives. I know a lot of people who wanted to buy one and buy their first Chevy in process, but were so turned off that they went and bought a Tesla Instead after their prices dropped and actually saved money. GM does customers a solid by dropping the price of the car and then greedy dealers go and ruin it. I'm pretty sure they have no idea how many customers are lost this way.

@@Chevrolet yes I saw that, but it all "starting price" for a specific model. I was talking about final spec and price, ex I want the price a 2LT awd and what would be the battery size in Kwh and does it have roof rail range etc . When those price and spec will be availble, according to your data the 2lt and rs will be availble this summer and we dont have any specific price and option. When the official release of production model to the press and all informations about it?

I own a 2021 Tesla Model Y. I am anxious to buy one of GM's products. I have always bought GM products and I think their fit, finish, and quality control far exceed my Tesla. I love driving the Tesla but the interior is a bid nothing.

Charging speeds especially. I find it strange the Cadillac Lyriq has been on the roads for months, and there's no reviews covering the 0 - 100 charging speeds. That is really weird. It's like GM had the owners sign an NDA. I'm a current Bolt owner, and one of the things I hate the most is how much of my time the Bolt takes when I'm DC "fast charging". I absolutely refuse to buy old technology in 2025. I'm expecting Tesla-like charging speeds or better.

@@BremboT Unfortunately you won't be finding 250kWh on this vehicle like Tesla's current and soon to be old gen with V4. The Blazer EV charges at 190kWh. 78 miles in 10mins at that rate IF YOU GET a charger at that speed with again unfortunately you aren't likely to on the public infrastructure.

​@@klownicle Yep. That's going to be the issue with all non-Telsa's. The car's max charging speed is only as good as the charging station. For the next few years, tou shouldnt buy an EV for its max charging speed if you are depending on that. I charge at home overnight 99.9% of the time. If you cant do that, get a Tesla or ICE vehicle. And for those that dont know, Supercharging is more expensive than gasoline.

EVs have sealed motors and electronics. There are plenty of videos of Teslas or Rivians wading or floating through 3 feet of water and coming out the other end. I wouldn't try that because you have no clue what is in that water, but no ICE vehicle can do that without a snorkel. Also EVs don't really use much energy unless they are moving. All the BS about winter traffic jams was simply that... BS. The heater can go days in winter if you aren't moving. It is much safer in an EV than ICE! Carbon monoxide build up is a pretty common killer when it comes to getting stuck in snow banks and trying to stay warm. Additionally, these batteries aren't the same chemistries you'd find in your phone or cordless drill. Plus they have coolant and heating systems to keep them at the optimum temperatures. This prolongs battery life by quite a bit. They project most of these new batteries will last 15-20 years. There are plenty of Tesla batteries that have gone over 300,000 to 500,000 miles before needing to change... And the battery prices are coming down drastically too. In 2010 the price per kWh was $2100. In 2021 it was only $130 per kWh. They expect that price to continue to fall into the $55 per kWh range with lithium ion. BUT that doesn't even factor in other battery chemistries that promise to be even cheaper and last even longer. Sodium ion batteries will be dirt cheap as will Iron Sulphate batteries. THIS is the major reason the big three are finally hopping on board. It not only reduces the number of parts by the thousands, but has the potential to actually be much cheaper to produce than ICE vehicles. (Whether consumers will ever see that benefit remains to be seen though.)

I thought the upcoming corvette SUV would be built on this platform? And the camaro is returning around 2025-2026 as an ev on it's own dedicated platform but still as a 2dr coupe?

Why couldn't they just adapt the gasser to ev and see how it sold? 🤔 I mean dodge will have the charger banshee out next year as a 2dr ground up ev coupe. Ford's working on an all ev 2dr coupe mustang. But not due out for a while as a 2028 model. I bet low sales of the s650 brings that forward a couple of year's.

Always was a dying breed imo. Chevy discontinued the Bolt 6 months after I bought one. Bolt is a great car and you’re throwing it away. It doesn’t make sense. So I say ok the Ultium battery maybe I’ll look forward to getting a Blazer but now you say you’re dropping CarPlay. Is GM trying to ruin its own customer confidence and loyalty base? Stop, think and ask what your customers want before you chase them away.

You get it yet? I haven't seen those SS models anywhere.

The question is with GM's decrepit EV ramp up how many years from now will be be for you to actually get your order in. Hummer is going on a year and only producing 11 or 12 a day with 77k preorders and Lyriq is only up to 1-3k a month and actual deliveries is way below. We got Tesla lowering prices, delivering in 4-8 weeks and zero dealer markups. GM is just lucky the blazer looks so darn good and I am saving a larger deposit for the high interest rates or I'd probably already bought a Tesla. Hope GM gets their head out there ars.

@@lucianosmurf7037 I own a 2021Tesla Model Y. They don't need to do any markups. The car is extremely overpriced for what you get. It is great fun to drive but the interior is absolutely nothing. Tesla also way overrates their range. They claim our car should get 330 miles per charge. That would never happen. We usually get 280 miles per charge. That is plenty for most people. I think manufactures should be much more honest.

Yup that's how they win over the petrol heads, noise, vibrating your butt like the hummev does and gasoline smelling air fresheners per Ford. 😀 Because all those manly men ABSOLUTELY love noisy smelly things that shake roar and vibrate the butt above all else. 👍🏻

Agreed- have to find solid and honest dealer. I found one last year when we bought our Bolt EUV and will be sticking with them. Dan Hattan in Wichita, KS make the car buying experience one I can live with. We bought the Bolt from them after an exhaustive search all through Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri, trying to find: A- the car, and B- a dealer that wasn't price gouging, and C- Customer Service. They renewed my faith in Chevrolet and the car buying experience. Note, I am one of the people that will go to the nth extremes to find The Car I want and only on my terms. My insurance guy loves to tell me I am a dying breed, LOL. I love automobiles!

Nah. Faster yes, but it maybe will take a 20%-30% drain by driving the hell out of it.
