I had front scissor jacks put on my Coleman 17b.

What would it cost to put a spare wheel/tire on it?

@@tutttutt9558 looking on amazon, one can pick up a bumper tire bracket for trailers under $50...but the rim will be costly as the tire (not just not any tire too) around $100-$200...

Battery life will all depend on the load you're putting on it. A few days with general use. Generator or plug in will back feed battery. Most new rvs will have some sort of solar for battery tending. Battery won't run ac but will run heat.

The battery is good to maintain the fridge during the journey from home to the campground. I would recommend changing to a 2 battery system and hooking up solar to maintain the battery or batteries. The ac is 110. I've never tried the heater on battery. Most of the time you are camping connected to the park power. If you do go with a generator a 3500w is plenty for the Coleman 17b with a 30A connection. If you get one that change out the propane holder to a dual propane holder and use one propane tank for the generator and one for the trailer.

If you have the v6 / 5k tow capacity you're in range. Make sure the payload isn't pushing you over the edge 👌

@@destinthervguide payload is like extra weight ? Also does it have to be ford trailer hitch installed or could I go to U-Haul you think ?

I bought this trailer specifically for my 2016 Ford Explorer XLT as it was within the tow rating of the Explorer. While it did tow the trailer, it didn't get out of 4th gear and I ended up getting about 7mpg. I ended up trading in my 2016 Explorer for an F150.

In my Coleman 17b, I have enough dairies, meats, and veggies for 3-4 days. I normally pack in frozen items as well in the mini freezer. I use a separate ice chest for the drinks that fits under the table.

Not from the factory. Dealership should be installing a battery upon purchase.

I put on a double battery box and run 2 deep cell batteries. That 12v refrigerator is an energy hog.

Mine came with one.

​@VanjorWang door issues. Every time I had the dealer work on it, they break something. The door still hasn't been installed properly. Then the last time I went to pick up the camper it smelled like poop. And guess what it was in the toilet, on the floor, on our soap bottle. Then they tore up the the paneling trying to get the refrigerator back in. Claimed it was ready to pick up. I still don't have the camper.
