They're the two biggest island, similar also in the North / South divide... We haven't lived in Las Palmas but in terms of prices and many other factors shoulnd't be too different!
@@Fer-sm4mg I think Tenerife landscape diversity is unmatched and can probably find more diversity in cultures/subcultures vibes. Again this is an impression we had, haven't lived in GC so can't say for sure
Accommodation prices are not accurate. Standard price is 1k in South and in colder parts of North you can even get flats for 500e. For 1500e per month you don't even need to plan and look. You can just land and get one. Sure you are right if you are talking about big properties with Ocean view.
Hi there! We were talking short term and specified touristic hotspots (e.g. Puerto de la Cruz etc) as of today in Puerto a studio would be 700/800 for Long term (idealista) short term unfortunately is harder to find. Also these studios at 700 are available only March to October and then the owners take them back to rent on AirBnB
Hola! Yes of course there are a bunch of groups on Facebook (digital nomads Tenerife, remote workers Tenerife. Tenerife expats) there you can ask for the invite link to the WhatsApp groups. There's a ton of groups usually separated by North / South of the island :)
Hello, is there something I have to consider if I am an Austrian citizen employed in Switzerland. If I want to work remotely from Tenerife for 1 month? Thanks
Hi there! I think you should ask your employer as international tax rules vary significantly depending on legislation. I've met all sorts of people (many Germans). Some just go without saying anything, some hire agencies and some are allowed to work but only for a number of days / weeks it depends on personal situation I guess! Good luck!
