Shout out to OC for doing a great job coordinating the Flag Football portion of the Hmong J4th Festival. You need to do it every year. 😂
Also Shoutout to all the out of state teams and ALL the NonAsians. Thank you for supporting and showing love to the Hmong MN Community. I support diversity in the sport. Your presence is always welcomed with open arms. The level of competition and energy yal bring is always 🔥. Hopefully your stay in MN was good and I hope you all come back even stronger next year.

Haters and critics, we didn't make the rules and didn't break any rules.. But thank you for your kind words!! 🙏

Who am I to say but I think to make it fair for the Hmong flag football community, The Hmong festival organizers should look into making a couple changes to the rules for teams that have more than 2 non Hmong players. Maybe allowing only 2 non Hmong players in at a time? Watching the highlights of this game I saw maybe 1 or 2 plays that involve a Hmong player making a play and the video is about 18min long. Other than that it was all kaydo and meka. No offense to anyone. The skill set that the non Hmong players have are way too ahead of our Hmong player due to size and athletic.

I agree with everything you said. Can't compete against god given height and athletic ability.

This league has turned into a joke. Why have rules if you don't enforce them 😂 what happened to this tournament being about highlighting what the hmong community has to offer? How do you even have pride that you win if your entire team damn near isn't even hmong or asian. LOL. I'm all about the growth of the sport but what a shame!!

U can't have 3 non Asian play along with bums, u be packing your bags home the first day, Don't believe me, gather a team and try it for your self. ECS hmong and Asian guys are all studs surrounding the east coast area. People just look at their QB, WRs and forget about how they built this team. Everything starts in the trenches. ECS has one of the best oline n dline in this tournament. Oline is all Asian n hmong. Dline they switch it up against different match up.
@HangMan113
@HangMan113 13 дней назад
@pimpedoutfbplaya just assume u can win with 3 non Asian. With ECS you really think they will win with no oline to protect or Asian supporting cast. Anyone watching their games would understand how they built their team. All their hmong and Asian players can ball, They could start for mostly all top teams in July 4. Reason why they champs. Show some love for their oline n dline. That's how championship is won.

@@pimpedoutfbplayau can have 100 non Asian but only 3 can start. Don't matter how many u have on the side line. teams get intimated seeing 5 or more non Asian on the sideline. If u can't beat em, join them.

Recruit kaydu and bum team u not winning Jack crap but go home the first day. U people need to stop with all these oh they have non Asian and that's how they won. Get your facts straight. ECS is built with talent through out the roster. Their Asian and hmong guys are studs but people only see the non Asian making plays but forget about the supporting cast. Don't expect to find top kaydu players to play and win with half walmart roster. GL

@@HangMan113 those dudes ain’t even all that that’s why they never made it pro so if anything they may be good but not really crazy good but not completely garbage too. They have the height and reach advantage. When you have people that similar skills as you but taller and can be quicker than you then you’re cooked. It’s like saying anybody can beat big guys in a fight haven’t got enough fights to understand why that’s not the case. When skills are matched, height, reach, and speed will come to play. Everything matters after the skills are on par. Nobody is pro here so technically we shouldn’t get too worked up on this lol. This is just backyard football for pure entertainment not serious game that can change lives.

No hate but I saw a bunch of Hmong brothers just running around doing nothing. Yeah, doing the dirty work in the trenches and that's it. Where are the athletic Hmong brothers (rbs/wrs) at? Looks like recruiting from the outside (no hate) is a big thing now in Hmong Flag football. Props to the winner.

@pimpedoutfbplaya
@pimpedoutfbplaya 12 дней назад
@peachxiong5201 mmm no. It's about having our own and respecting the rules. Thus why we don't have our own country 🤣 before you say get better, look up who the first hmong starting running back at the D1 level in Wisconsin was and that I played college and semi-pro. I welcome the challenge and fear no one. Also didn't hurt that we won J4 with no non asians on our team. It's about pride and staying true to the mission statement, "displaying the best athletes the hmong race has to offer" not blacks, not whites, not any other race. The name is literally, HMONG flag football. It's about letting these Hmong kids whose parents never wanted them to play sports to get a chance to play the sport. Has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with racism or not allowing other races, thus why we have the non asian rule. But if you want to think it's jealousy then go for it🤣
@mouacheemeng
@mouacheemeng 12 дней назад
@@pimpedoutfbplaya I agree with this. If you don’t have majority Hmong in your team then you’re not a real Hmong team. Imagine having a bunch of Asians in a black team going against blacks at a black sports event for their people. They wouldn’t even let you do it to their people because that’s disrespect even if they are better and will shut you down (like how dare you represent a black team). If everyone wants to play flag then gotta follow the rules otherwise start your own flag foot ball tournament event with whatever rules you want to make. Most people forgot to use their brains when they argue. This isn’t even pro but casual type family backyard fun flag football with a small money prize. You are not inviting a bunch of strangers despite them being nice. Rules are rules but some don’t get it and want to yell out racism. Think about the whole idea and purpose of J4 freedom festival then think about the sports right after. It was made for the Hmong community. You have to connect to get in to participate and abide rules.

@mouacheemeng My point exactly, bro!! If that's the case, then just label it, Flag Football Tournament. One day when these girls hmong flag team go against a similar situation I GUARANTEE YOU, they will get catty and start crying. But as of right now, Hmong women still dominate their sport and will have a few other races here and there but not the majority of the team. I can't wait to come back to her comment when it happens🤣. It's about having something of our own and giving these young kids a platform!!

@@pimpedoutfbplaya they will make a FB post or video ranting saying life isn’t fair and that nobody warned them that this would happened to them. I mean, women’s flag football is kind of boring so I could care less since I want real excitement and fun. The only reason why some dudes care to watch it is because they want to stair at asses and haven’t seen any for a while. I don’t think enough non Asians care to play flag for the women’s team. Dudes legit don’t even care about women’s flag football. I like women’s volleyball but I wouldn’t question anything about it since I am not a woman. I have no fight in the women’s sports environment so they have to speak up for themselves if they see it as a problem or not.

@@pimpedoutfbplaya if there’s even at least 25% non Hmong in the Hmong teams, to me things are going to look funny. I understand if you have one or two guys but having a handful will make me question why aren’t you confident enough to put your trust in your other possible Hmong guys? Maybe train harder and even get into football training camps to increase your football iq/skills like people that tried to get into the NFL? People that recruit non Asians are just lazy to put in work to find other Hmong or even Asians for their teams. Imagine if a Hmong soccer team is majority white. Next thing we know, more white teams wants to play. Next thing we know, Mexicans, Germany, Brazilians, and all other non Asian teams gonna start protesting and ranting that it’s not fair the whites get in but they can’t. What do we do now? Suicide lol

@kmeng401 so based on your point you're proving my point. If you know anything about this tournament, team numbers went SIGNIFICANTLY DOWN in the 2010s. The best thing that happened to this league was them starting the U-18 league to develop these kids to transition in the men's league. There is NO tomorrow with out the past and the fact you only see in the moment and not the big picture is concerning. Do you have any idea how many teams there were this year? Do you know how many teams came as all hmong/asian teams? There is no tomorrow if you don't encourage the hmong youth to see a path in this. Lol and to show up these last 20 years to still get whooped by all hmong teams. You care about the right now but little do you know that if you actually spoke to these kids on the sideline that want to play, they don't play because they don't think they're good enough to play against the teams full of non asians. Don't brush past the point that this league was created to encourage hmong kids to get into athletics. Don't brush past the point that these non hmong dudes except for MAMAS BOY werent good enough in their own leagues so they come destroy these hmong kids. Soon enough you'll be left with no league that was created to highlight hmong talent. Stop living in the moment and being a hype beast and think about why this league was down to barely 15 teams in the 2010s until the teams full of non hmong joined. You know nothing my guy.

@pimpedoutfbplaya if you're talking about the big dance tournament, which is the biggest HFF tournament their is then is DEMONS. They went to 5 straight finals from 2013-2017. They lost the first two finals against T.C.F in 2013 then to Black Vemon in 2014. Then proceed to win the next three straight finals from 2015 to 2017 and was and still is the only Dynasty team ever in the big dance tournament. After 2017 many of those players retired and that was that. They had legitimate good Hmong football players like Newtong who played division 2 college football and was Demons shut down number one corner who went head to head with non-Hmong WR in the HFF tournaments.
