Anybody else notice that the Element depicted on the T-shirt is driving on the wrong side of the double yellow line for the American rules of the road system? Whereas it's true Element owners tend toward being outside the box thinkers we do know which side of the road to drive on ... most of the time. I bought an Element new in 2008 and I'm still crazy about this little automotive oddity. You might say I'm Elemental.To heck with aerodynamics. I like the feeling of knowing I'm smashing through the atmosphere with blunt force and taking corners on twisty mountain roads like a drunken buffalo; well that's just part of the Element thrill. I've built a little studio apt..in the back of my Element. I rent it out every other weekend as an Airbnb; helps to pay for the 15 mpg not the 30 mpg that Honda claimed. But on the upside the Element is a chick magnet. Yea, I have no shortage of young art history majors trying to cozy up to me. They say things like, "I was attracted to the lines of your car; they're so unapologetic, so defiant", or " I can tell by the car you drive, even if I never find a job, the hunger of my life will be satisfied. We will live on love ... and toast". Life is Elementary. If it doesn't fit in an Element, you don't need it. Carry on. Carry everything.
