Thansk for the SUB. you can use the PRBR mounted on the clutch master cylinder but I use the PRB lever from the older modles. Same outcome just a larger lever unit
I own an Escape R 2022 (with all the bells and whistles, PRBR, flywheel etc) and I regularly watch your channel with great interest. Now, in spite of all the fuss about the new X/XR I'm under the impression that EM's perceived hesitation with revealing these enduro setups was well founded. The base concept lends itself rather well to Trials riding but in my opinion not as much to enduro, and I'm afraid that the enthusiastic initial acceptance of these new incarnations will soon fade. I myself was looking forward to buying the XR but I'm now not so sure any more. Sorry but I had to say that.
We have 3 escape r and now have a XR limited and a regular XR….we got them a week ago and have ridden every day….if you only ride slow and technical terrain….the escape r is great…/anything slightly faster and you would love the XR…I would say please try one….they are probably the perfect machine. I own two KTM electric that are pretty modified and still like the XR better.
Can you leave the front number plate and just use the blinkers without the headlight unit? I would like to use the OEM blinkers but with the front number plate and add an LED bar as a headlight. And is it possible to mount the rear light and blinkers on the fender, instead of the ugly swing arm mount number plate holder?
Sorry for the spam, but another question. Couldn't they have made the battery bigger by simulating some sort of front tank and air intake fender that spreads out? And make the battery bigger with that shape of a gas enduro. You know what I mean? Now the battery is really slim and just sits inside the frame
The rear rim on the XR is thinner than the stock Escape R one. Does this mean thinner rear tires as well? The rear tire in this video certainly looks thinner than the one I have on my 23 Escape R.
How is it that this bike has been available in dealerships for months (at least in my area of the US) and there is almost ZERO videos and reviews of it beyond Ka Uila? I can find 10,000 Ultra Bee real-world-review videos, but nearly nothing on the Escape MX. I own an EM ePure Race (and love it) and want an electric enduro bike, but since nobody is talking about this bike I have to assume it’s either not worth considering or it’s not a realistic alternative to the Ultrabee or Arctic Leopard bikes. So strange…
@jeffkeller774 Yeah, not many co tent creators out there on the em in general. To be honest, my views suck because of the small market, but I do it for the community not to be popular, unfortunately, lol For more info on the xr check out the electric motion official face book group. Lots of content and reviews there
This is a trials based bike but IMO the clutch is absolutely necessary for big steps and pops in hard enduro. For riding single track I agree a clutch is not needed.
