Why OH why did they NOT pit Oscar in Q1 for new soft tyres after he mucked up his second lap? They had time. They put him on a cool-down lap for another crack on his ruined softs that were clearly suffering from no grip. I would have told him to pit straight away for new boots. He most likely would have made it to Q3. The McLaren strategists Fucked it up again! WTF are they thinking? They just continue to bend him over. I could phone in better strategy than they deliver. In fact I would just text them in. And they wouldn't even have to pay me. Maybe a McLaren hat. And while I'm on the subject, why did they not pit Oscar last week to have a go at getting the fastest lap??? He was over 30 seconds ahead of Russell. DUMB.
Max is the greatest driver in F1.The performances he has been consistently putting since Miami in the 3rd fastest car is surreal. He has no competition other than REDBULL 😂

They should have brought him in for new softs rather than get him to do a cool-down lap and try to qualify on worn softs. THEY HAD TIME. By golly that McLaren strategy mob are F'ING STUPID!!!!!! I'm actually sad that Magnussen and Hulkenberg arent going to be at Haas next year. Their antics and over performance this year has been one of the most entertaining parts of this season.
I'm still amazed that so many drivers gave up their seat in FP1 around a tricky track and with FP2 being a tyre test with no set up work because of the red flag which is common at this track, complete madness when you think about it.
Still harping on about mega dud Ricciardo. They wouldn't be winning the constructors championship if Ricciardo was there. The big mistake in the F1 paddock is Checo still driving for RB. If you want to manipulate a story and contrive an outcome and change history, put a good driver in the RB too. Not that Ricciardo is good.
It's not that Ricciardo is a better driver than Checo at this point in their careers. It's that he's a different driver. Checo likes a strong rear end on the car and Max likes a strong front end. Daniel's driving style is closer to Max and he would get along better with the car.
Yo Peter with the huge L take of saying Ferrari should be embarrassed for signing Lewis over Carlos even with context. Then again there's a reason Peter isn't a team principal of any team anymore.
How many points is Ferrari going to gain on McLaren? I predict about 15 if Oscar can get into the top 10. Andrea seemed a little annoyed with Oscar as he knows the CC is slipping away to Ferrari.
Hamilton is beating his teammate this season, and Sainz is not... Hamilton has two race wins, and Sainz has one... Hamilton is closer to Sainz in the WDC, than Sainz is to Leclerc. If Ferrari build a similar car for 2025, Hamilton can match Sainz's 2024 results... Hamilton also has the world championships and cache that Sainz never will.
Sainz missed a race this year, don't really see the point in using point totals without context. I agree that Hamilton is the better driver, but the latter points you've made make more sense for Ferrari, not a comparisons vs teammates or points.
Ferrari wants hamilton ,it has nothing to do with Carlos,, you. Realize Ferrari and hamilton signed the deal before this year racing start. Ferrari hungry for championship ,hamilton was robbed a championship so is two hungry person seek their dinner.also Ferrari was having a up and down year, lots of mistake so they went for experience to kind of steady the ship .
Sainz was another here, and Max beat Charles and Lando , what I see Lando is nose ahead of a fast Ferrari got to see how it will look for Lando in Mediums tomorrow. Such a shame we see Carlos leave Ferrari, everyone feels wrong driver leaving as shown by performance.
I wish Peter gives more credit to my man Oscar who has scores 150 points to Lando's 129 in the last nine races , and pushing Lando to the limit. Give him a year he will own Lando soon.
Piastri didn’t have the new floor like Norris, pushed his new softs just too much and then over did T12, grinding the car floor and losing the lap. He had no Q1 banker as he was too slow on the mediums in his first run. A little like Mexico last year with Lando, McLaren made it tough for their own drivers in saving a set of softs in Q1. Lando was super quick in Q2, but his first Q3 run, on used softs I think, was trash at about 9 tenths off. Next run Lando took the short route out of Peraltada (like Sainz) and beat Leclerc by thousandths.
Ferrari financial management will be the only ones satisfied with the Lewis deal from the beginning of the year. I don´t think Lewis will do a good job, he´s already been superseded by George, and I don´t put George on the same level as Charles!
