2023 will be remembered far longer simply because it broke all the records and showed a level if driving consistency that hasnt been seen in the history of the sport. If not for an unlucky quali in Saudi, an ill timed SC in Baku and Emilia being canceled, Max would've won 23/24 races.

@@davidcagle920 it's the engineers fault, they didnt triple check the weight of the car before the race starts. Maybe they did, but, they overlook things
@@davidcagle920 I heard they didn't have a fully empty fuel tank when they weighed the car to set it up, so it was a few kilos underweight when they removed the entirety of the fuel for the final weigh in.
This is what we wanted a season where multiple drivers can fight for the champtionship and a little mistake can cost you big time. Sad though that when the big changes come into force we will have the new rules where the gaps between teams could be bigger again and we will have to wait a season or two before we see such close times between so many teams. At least we get have this season to enjoy and look back on.
I disagree, Red Bull was way ahead in 2022 and 2023, but since 2022, the cars from the rest of the field have been some of the closet in the history of the sport, and now the entire field is getting closer together.

The first half of 2024 was basically identical to the first half of 2013. A few races of RB dominance before the resurgence of 3-4 other teams fighting for poles and wins. But this time there won’t be any Pirelli change to ruin the fun for the 2nd half
I think the thing which stands out the most to me is that we’re seeing positions decided by small errors. For the first time in a long time drivers are really being punished for mistakes.
I wish they pushed the 2026 regs back a couple years, this year and next will be so close. Every time we start to get close racing the regs change and one team dominates again
lando winning his first race at Miami just didn't feel right, it was a decent race but I can never take Miami seriously, and then the commentary was atrocious
Just got into F1 this season because of my partner, been learning a lot of history and current things and I've been LOVING it. Russel, Piastri, and Alonso are my favs and I've cried at Lando's first win and Leclerc's Monaco win. Excited for the summer break to end :3c
The Budapest Race was a team mistake by McLaren. Should the team have pitted Piastri first rather than Norris, there wouldn't be any embarrassing moment to have a team order in the middle of the race. Can feel the disappointment from Norris, because he didn't make any mistake.

Since second part of 2013, when RBR was dominating and making it very predictable and boring, and so from 2014 up to 2020 with Mercedes doing the same with few exceptions when Vettel was on fire, and excepting 2021 season and first half of 2022 season, f1 was definitely a dying sport… since 2012 we haven’t seen so much diversity and unpredictable moments
The season so far has been one for fulfilling the wishes of fans from every camps. Lando winning for the first time. Hamilton winning after 3 years. Leclerc winning in Monaco. Verstappen put to test, but still winning through sheer brilliance.
It's a pity that this video did not mention the fact that the FIA changed the rules regarding breaking system, into corners, forcing the Red Bull team to remove their brilliant breaking system immediately. When the Mercedes team invented the brilliant DAS system that adjusted the front wheel alignment to help vary the front wheel breaking into corners while helping control the front tire temperatures, the FIA banned the system but allowed them to use the system for the rest of the season which they easily won. Until the Red Bull team adjusts to the new rules, after losing this brilliant breaking advantage, the 'on track' racing will be much closer?
I just realised something, i been watching since 05 but this is the first season ive seen where 4 teams have won multiple races each. Even the legendary 2012 season only had 3 teams win more than 1 race each despite 6 different teams winning atleast 1.
