Just got my A & P rating yesterday 10/23/2023. This video still good! Some questions were literally word for word! Good luck to anyone testing! Thank you @Northeast Aviation 🤝
Hi would like to ask you since you did it after the new ACS standards implementation. How was the testing? Was it tough? I am actually testing this coming tuesday and I haven't quite got a clue on the new testing process. They say it is more stringent
These videos are super helpful! I've been using them to study and already passed the Airframe portion, thanks in no small part to these videos. Quick question though, in Chapter 2 one of the questions is "A weak cylinder is found during a compression check. What must be inspected?" and the answer is "Pressure is transmitted equally in all directions" That can't be right can it? The answer doesn't even say what to inspect.

After much procrastination, I finally took my test and the last time I listened to this video was 5 minutes before the DME opened the gate for me to enter the airport for my oral and practical. With the new ACS testing it won’t be the same wording anymore (I tested both before ACS and after) but these questions will definitely help you answer some or atleast get in the ball field; study ASA Prepware as well and you’ll be solid. Thank you for this video.
Chapter 2 a weak cylinder is found during a compresion check? What do? Answer: check the inside of the cylinder. Not... pressure is equal in all directions.
I would like to give a shout out to Northeast Aviation Pro for making this video! I tested yesterday and passed my O&P! Every question I was asked is on this video! I played it over and over while at home studying and while driving from work to home. Thank you for taking the time to make this video! With God’s help and this video, I was able to pass the O&P! I would strongly recommend it if you want to pass your exams! Thank you again 🙏🏻!!!
Thank you for these videos. Along with quizlet slides and reading the jeppeson books these videos helped me so much in passing my o&p exams. I’m now a certified amt and I’m very proud of myself. Thank you again and good luck to everyone else studying watching these videos.
You literally only need to study the Jeppesen oral questions to pass your A&P exam, 90 percent of my test questions were in this video. I thought the orals were going to be way harder on the test, but they are just as general and broad as these questions. Don't stress and just learn these questions to pass.

Just wanted to say thank you for this video and all the others you have posted. I passed all my o&p tests with a lot of help from these. Great resource!
7:34 chapter 2: recip engine operation. instruments, maintenance, and overhaul Question 13 is wrong in the book: The answer should be "The inside of the cylinder. Check piston rings and cylinder walls for wear"
This video should have millions of likes and the comments in this video should be praising this guy and sending him a couple 20$ bills. Start a Patreon I’ll send you some money. I listen to this every day as I’m studying for my A&P thank you very much.
Just passed my General and Powerplant O&Ps!!!! Thanks man for all your hard work and I mean that sincerely. With that being said… all who are gearing up to take their exams, study your written question not for memorization only. I got an 85 on both writtens G and P and got 11 question for Gen. and 14 for PP, for the practicals I got 9 for Gen. 11 for PP. with each practical you get 2 oral questions. For my regular oral questions they were mainly written test questions.. for my practical oral questions those were the ones from the back of the Jeppeson book. So if I didn’t know the information I would’ve been screwed because I only studied the oral questions and brain dumped the questions from the Cats exams. Know both, I know it’s difficult but it’s worth it. Also, not every oral question will be word for word so learn key terms to at least know what subject you’re getting at when answering. Best of luck to you all. Ask me any questions you have and I’ll try my best to get back to you.
Just passed my o/p for my powerplant add on on today, am officially a full A&P now...thanks to this video, the oral portion was like 3 minutes. Thanks so much bro, REALLY REALLY helped 👍👊🍻💯😎💰
Just passed my powerplant O&P . Just the same as with the airframe and general, I have this RU-vid channel to thank. The journey is both over and just begun.
Unpopular but I passed and just like to watch these videos for refresher. Always keep yourself knowledgeable never get cocky or arrogant, be the best asset you can be in this industry, you will go so far 🙏

Need help…Where you got all the questions and answers in the video and What books? I’m looking for books can study for oral and practical guide. Thanks advance!
I would like to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH‼️ These videos helped me with my A&P Journey ~ my Oral & Practical Exam for General, Airframe & Powerplant was on 12/9/22 & I PASSED🎉

Thank you! Just passed my O&P, studied this video for two days and missed 3 questions. Only missed them because I was afraid of being wrong. I knew the answers it turned out! This is the end all be all for orals 10/10. Still perfectly relevant
@@johnnydoe9969 i now have my airframe as well. The hardest practical for powerplant was removing and replacing a cylinder it was just time consuming. And for airframe it was either servicing the nose gear or the ELT. Mostly those "bigger" practicals are just time consuming. Just focus on using your tech data and you should be fine Also for orals the jeppesons were fantastic. It also lists practicals and you can look up the practicals on the FAAs website. Research ones that you dont feel confident about. Maybe practice a few. As long as you study and put in the effort to prepare youll breeze through it.
@@praiselordcthulhu2428 Is there enough in these 3 videos to pass the oral? I got many O&P for Airframe, Powerplant, and General coming up on March 3rd and I Just started studying a week and a half ago.
@@ryannelson5943 these videos just voice voice over all the jeppeson test guide verbals. My dme proctors verbals were all jeppeson questions. So between this and studying the books youll be fine. Just remember study every day or close to it. Reading them for 20 mins a day is better than 3 hrs in on sitting. Repetition helps me pass tests better.
Got my General and Powerplant O and P coming up, this video made me realize how much better the Jeppesen books are than the ASA ones. Literally just ordered them now, ASA is really only good for studying for the written exams. Thanks my dude!
I tested Tuesday, every question i was asked on the oral is included in these 3 videos. If you study these and remember all the answers there should be no reason you don’t pass. Thank you for making these.
Thanks for watching! Don't forget to check out my aircraft mechanic merchandise on my channel. Show your love for aviation and grab some gear today! 🛬✈️🔧 #AircraftMechanic #AviationLove Link in description!
Hey everyone I passed my O&P with these videos oral questions are random picked but these questions maximize studying time. I recommend RU-vid premium and play them on repeat no ads.
You can't take each one separately, you need to take general with airframe or powerplant. I recommend that you take airframe and general first. Then powerplant. It will be much easier than taking everything at once.
@@droskiboyallday practicals weren’t bad. It’s all stuff you’ve done in school, inspecting props, installing a cylinder assembly, run a recip engine. Stuff like that.
This video is amazing and has been very helpful to me. Going to be taking my Powerplant and General O&P on August 31st of 2022 (roughly two weeks from now). Will keep you updated. 🙏 P.s. what is the background music???
@@uzidoesit714 i got the test rescheduled for the 5th this September because I over focused on my orals instead of my practicals, so I used one more week to study practicals and now I feel ready.
Congrats brother. Im glad you passed. Check out our new merch shop and show us support. All the procedes go back into these videoes that you guys love! Cheers!

@@northeastaviationpro I PASSED! This study guide is still extremely accurate even after the test changes, seriously thanks for making these videos bro, definitely buying your merch soon 🤙🏽🔥
i start school on August 1st 18 months to get my A&P would listening to these typa videos do me any good just to get an idea before hand that i actually start?
Taking the 2nd half of my powerplant Oral on Thursday, this video is very helpful cause the O&P book doesn’t include all of these questions. Wish me luck!
Thanks for watching! Don't forget to check out my aircraft mechanic merchandise on my channel. Show your love for aviation and grab some gear today! 🛬✈️🔧 #AircraftMechanic #AviationLove
@@Scott-bd5rc I pushed it back to study some more, but this video has been helping so much. I study this video, the written powerplant book and the O&P book, plus the 8083 for notes.
@@keirisanchez8490I’d say 90% was word for word a few were re-worded and a few I’d never heard before. And definitely spend a little more time studying the areas you got wrong on your written.
Got my A&P last month thanks to this video. Most of the oral questions were the same as the guide with the exception of 2-3 newer questions to trick you.
@@northeastaviationpro is it any way if I send you a monetary amount I could get the audio files sent to me. I listen to it at work and the service is terrible here so the videos just keep buffering
This is awesome.. but could be improved. The microphone one and stretching the mouth and tongue cheek cavities. By counting out loud as fast as possible to 100... Also air moisture and drink temperature. But who wants to be perfect anyways lol ..
Just passed my general and Powerplant in 2 hrs because of these videos. I take my Airframe next week Saturday. I’ll buy merch from you for sure after I pass the airframe. Study boyz and girls the questions are on here. Some are a little different but it’s because the FAA will throw off questions in. No one will ever get a 100% but these vids were able to get me 90% pass
I just passed my orals with flying colors on the first try thanks to you very grateful for this video. But I’m glad to say I don’t need to watch it anymore and I know my wife is happy I would have this playing as we went to sleep 🤣
Would this video help with powerplant written test too? I did great on my general because of your general written test video and I passed airframe too but it was harder for me with no audio for that one but I noticed there's no videos for written airframe and powerplants and it made it more difficult for me because all I had was the book for those.

Not one soul found this? I should have said for Slick Mags. It's in the Slick Magneto overhaul manual, but in the trouble shooting appendix: 190 to 220 inch pounds.
I listened to your General video leading up to my General O&P's which was yesterday (14/Dec/2022) and passed with flying colors. Taking PowerPlant today!
