The 2024 FOCAC summit is underway in Beijing and it is arguably the largest diplomatic event held in the Chinese capital in recent years. Over 50 African countries have been invited, solidifying their existing relationships while seeking new areas of cooperation with the world's second largest economy. At the summit's media center, CGTN reporter Li Zhao caught up with a young Gambian anchor who hopes for more two-way exchanges in trade, youth communication and many other fronts.
