People complain alot clearly not commute everyday on semi /full offroad condition.. am from hill areas and trust me in real life we dont actually need, sunroof,gadget, infotainment, ADAS etc but ample of torque, ground clearance, strong build body and frame, AT tyre and realiable and availability of parts.. even if people read my comment especially city dweller will never understand coz they havent experience the life beyond soft tarmac..
They should swap the bench seats and last row captain seats. One can go in last row through the middle row captain seats. The last bench seats then should be placed all the way behind for more knee room in second and third row. The last row bench should be foldable in case of less passengers and you want to keep luggage there. If all seats are occupied you can use roof rack for luggage. That way it will be more practical if Force wants to sell it as lifestyle plus family vehicle
Absolutely ..The Second row fiasco will ruin the Gurkha. These should have been fully reclining 3 captain seats and the Third row should have been excluded
They should have and still can offer multiple seating options.4, 5,6 seats... 7 with an option of bench at rear I guess is easy with the current seats. They can also offer detachable seats, foldable last row would make ladies love to take the Gurkha for big shoppings. Fully recliner seats front and back can make the car into readymade camper. I believe the Gurkha has the capacity to offer multiple seating options and doing just that can make the car appealing to more buyers. Wish force would hired them Japanese kei car seat designers. I had used my tiny wagonR (1st model) as ambulance, camper, goods carrier etc just because it had brilliantly flexible seats.
what I need in this vehicle is a letter looking steering wheel with audio controls, somewhat better plastic quality, more space in 2nd row of 3 door version, a better infotainment system with at least some what good sounding 4-speaker system.
Could have been 6 individual captain seats with automatic shifters and disc brakes in all wheels with abs, ebd and ba. Could have been a beast in indian roads and be branded as indian hummer. Engineers who doesn't know peoples needs are useless
Almost perfect. Please make more variants to have bench/pilot/side seat at rear and flexible middle seat and more articulation till it degrades ride quality.
I’m extremely happy to see that they have improved things by listening to critics . Like engine “power upgrade” with an option to economise when you want . Lovely idea. ”suspension arms” redesigned for ground clearance. digital front console and an info system with google maps BTW(Toyota still needs this upgrade) The issues still linger on non adjustable middle row seat back angle. Why can’t they just swap the middle row and the back row exactly like the Innova crysta ? It’s an extremely convenient setting. If I buy this 5door I’ll surly get it done as an after market thing… captain seats in the middle and 50:50 flat bed seat as the last-row with detachable and foldable option . Exactly like Citron C3Aircross . ❤❤ I’m extremely happy to see them work on the product and upgrade it with mindful inputs. All that is left now are the showrooms and silly sluggish sales agents who are least interested in selling . Lena hai lo varna Aage badho…. Sawal mat poocho.
This review took into account everything that a few amongst us felt about this vehicle ❤ Just one more thing I felt about this vehicle is the alloys; though they have been upsised, the old design was aesthetically better...
Wht the engineers are thinking I don't no.such a big car but couldn't manage the seating comfort why they had to go for 3rd row useless.are bhai engineers there are no more joint family nw days mostly all are nuclear..
How pampered today's people are, they forget that those who buys bolero or scorpio for them its a very good car, no need to upgrade the interior rather upgrade the engine more and make the 3 rows comfortable no need of automatic transmission just add 6 speed mt.
Give an example of a single vehicle with 4x4 and rear and front diff locks at this price range. I will give an exemption😂 you can add 2 more lakes more than Gurkha will still consider also engine could be less than 2000cc. Do you have an answer???

@@iDoSketch ok that is great. From my prospective Gurkha has taken a big leap with this new version with right power and Capability. They just need to make it a little bit more comfortable and the sales would be good. One thing which will attract a lot of buyers is back seat comfort and for they need to create at least some more leg room which is still possible.
Horrible middle row. Power upgrade is good. Almost same as safari storme first introduced as 140 Varicor Engine. Off road of this Gurkha will be great. Price should be 12 lakhs Ex.showroom.
Dear before reviewing please take care that this car is the majority for off road, while you are focusing only on cosmetic features which basically belong to urban cars
MAKE 3 CHANGES 1) fix BUMBER (refer RUBICON OR CHINESE) 2) fix DASH (refer CLEAN SLATE europian design 3) go for 2 ROW MORE LEG SPACE (recline) better luggage
Shame on force motors ! Dunno if this is just arrogance or u still have a bunch of stone age designers/ engineer's!! Actually this is a bomb of a vehicle and can easily give the thar a tough time! Very sad
Raw Off-roading karni hain ya sona hai terko andhar😹bkl.. Middle row seat thoda dikkat hain but...build quality not an issue... saying as an off-road enthusiast
-Substandard Interiors -No safety features -No comfort features or modern day functionalities. -A.c positioning a d steering wheel looks like a decade old design. - No automatic version - No recline possible in the seats. It would have been better to include all those features and increase the cost proportionately. Not fit for family use. Force gurkha designers need to work much harder. It's such a capable cat and car become a cult...but the designers make sure nobody gives a damn about this beautiful machine. Gurkha designers and leaders who cant read the market enough need to be fired! Sad!
I don't like the name Gurkha, the cheap LEDs circling the headlights and the breadbox design. I don't like Thar as well. The irony is that every vehicle with a high CG is called an SUV.
Class 4th standard kid can make a better product than what the force motors engineers has done so far. It another 20 years minimum to anywhere come closer to any other car brands... Heartbreaking & pathetic Force shame on you..😡
