Thanks for the review! I've got a deleted 22' limited on 40's and a lifted/blown G1 coming up on 98K hard driven miles. The amount of fun I've had in those years of ownership is priceless. I can only imagine how much more they've built upon that formula. G3.5 is a beautiful truck, so so about the splashes, but nonetheless. I look forward to more videos about it. Cheers

This is a great video. I’m considering a Raptor as a daily driver too and appreciated all your points. You cleared up a lot of things that I was thinking about. I have two things I’m still considering. One is a point you made which is gas mileage between the standard Raptor (with 37) and the R. To be honest, I’m a little scared of the low gas mileage on the R. Below 10 MPG is really expensive. And the second point that causes me hesitation is that Blue Cruise is not available in Raptors. I’m not sure why. The first year of the 3rd gen I believe Ford was planning on having Blue Cruise available as an option in Raptors, but then they changed their mind. I was hoping that by now they would have been able to configure Blue Cruise to work with Raptors. Have you heard anything about that?

1:35 - It looks like you have some amber inboard fog lights? Is that just a lens swap or an entirely new pair of lights? And are those tied to the Aux switches? Edit: I see you have a video showcasing them, nevermind. lol

I drive a 2012 Silverado 1500 with a code that is running rich and maybe that's a sign to condition myself if I ever get me a Raptor R in the future lol. Nice truck BTW!!

I’ve got almost 14k miles on my 23 Raptor R and my average is 14.2 since day one of owner ship. Not bad at all I don’t think considering my 37 performance package ecoboost was only around 16mpg.

Hello from France ! Thank you for your videos, honestly this sorts of cars are light years away from EU cars. Here the best thing you can buy new is a 1.5L Diesel or 3 cylinders petrol engine, of course I do not talk about EV. So people like me who like small sports cars or pickup we love to dream looking to the west ahah. This Ford Raptor R is amazing and so versatile. I only do not understand your explanantions regarding the oil temp, is it a problem, does it overheat during normal driving ? Anyway I love this truck. Take care and enjoy your car ;) !

I can see it has some rake but are you able to measure from the ground to the top of the wheel wells, I’ve seen where some have a .5” up to 1.5” difference. Thanks

This vehicle is made for off road use. I’m not paying $120k for exclusive daycare and Starbucks runs. A 35 package is more sensible. And $40k cheaper. Gas mileage is terrible normally. Pity the guy who owns a RV or boat.

My 2007 Ford Expedition 13mpg on good day and 8mpg when press the gas down! Don’t want to know how much gas and maintenance spend since 2007. Looking forward buying Raptor.

Can you put your exhaust to Baja mode without putting your Drive mode to Baja? Your screen just popped up and said Baja Mode only... Your thoughts?

Frame of reference for those curious how this compares to other Ford trucks…I’m getting 12.1AVG so far over 1,500 miles in my 24’ F350 Platinum Tremor 7.3. Running factory tires at 65psi front/75 rear. Burning 87 octane. So this 720HP monster gets the about the same as my truck 😅

Boil it all down, a truck is a truck. The difference is the price.

It needs to run 91 octane, correct?

Don't you think it should have a economy mode so it can drive like a regular Raptor and get maybe 15 to 20 miles a gallon. When you want the 700+ horsepower maybe you drop it down to Drive super/DS on the gear lever. 05-03-24
