Just researched this on the internet: yes, clams can make peals. These also come in gorgeous colors such as champagne, white, pink, purple, green, yellow, red, blue, silver, black, etc. And in different sizes as well. The Keshi pearls are formed in the outer lining of the clam, oyster, or mollusk. They are pretty tiny and are not evenly shaped. The fact that her pearls are all so perfectly round and huge means they are indeed fake. I wish for her sake they were real but she’s just a very good actress. Plus, why wouldn’t she save the clam meat to eat? She’s throwing away a needed resource.
Also, why is she the only one in her area hunting for these valuable commodities? You’d think the whole village or area would be crawling with people competing to get these valuable pearls.
I think this is fake because no two clams have same coloured pearls or all of them be exactly and perfectly round in shape or similar sizes. And it doesn't have to be in a way that the clam and pearls inside are in the same colour In her videos, one video she takes same colour pearls in different clams. I am not sure but i think its fake. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I would advise everyone to research blue clam, and see for yourselves if this video is real or fake. They are rare and do not produce this many pearls. Please research and see for yourselves!
For any of you out there, these aren't pearls. They are either craft beads or sculpted shell pearls. No mollusc puts out such pearls unless you're at Rangiroa in the pearl beds, and they are white, peacock, golden, or varying shades of grey. Guys, come on, Seriously?
ROTFLMFAO at 2:10 out pops a bright blue mollusc! Nothing in nature is that colour except some wildflowers in the Alps I've seen. Maybe a wild water iris here or there, but a mollusc? This is very entertaining, not at all real but what the heck?!? I love a good laugh.
