Great question, and we forgot to cover that. Currently the system they use, if you still have power, in the kitchen over head cabinet behind the false panel is the controller, there are 2 red buttons on the controller, one for each motor, push both together to retract slide, this will only retract and not run out. The other option is you should have received a flexible bit that you can insert in the motor itself, there is a motor on each side so you would need to walk it in. You also need to remove the cover bracket to get to them. There is an older system where the motor is located above the slide in the middle.
