2024 Hobonichi and Travelers Company Planners - too many options? 

Nice! I separate out my journaling from my planning and that works really well for me, because when I’m in journaling mode it’s so different. And when I look back on my journals I really just want to see what I wrote, but I really don’t look back on old planning unless I need to figure out what I did on a specific day. So I think your new system makes a lot of sense

Looks like a wonderful lineup! I was TOTALLY overwhelmed but thats mostly because of life in general and that gets transfered to neding a high performing system taht I can control LOL. Im streamlinging. An A5 and Standard size Sterling Ink. Thats it!

Thanks for sharing. I admire your commitment to your color scheme! For my 2024 planner, I was torn between the SI Common Planner in weeks size and hobonichi weeks. In the end I am choosing the hobonichi because of the beautiful cover art (I got the moomin) and will add an SI blank weeks notebook for the extra pages. My personal journal will be the A6 HON. I am using an A6 Avec this year and I miss the chunk :))

I agree, there are a lot of beautiful options this year! As for myself, I knew I had to wait for the full Hobonichi lineup to make my final decision this time because there might be cover designs for the Weeks or HON I could not walk past, and it actually was that way. Ended up with the Tomitaro Makino A5 HON (journal), the Tomitaro Makino Weeks (work), and the One Piece A6 HON (still unsure, probably dailies for work). I don't think I'll buy anything else that is dated for 2024. By the by, even though the Tomitaro Makino Hobonichis have cream-coloured covers, my lineup will be pretty blue because I'm going to use the Blue Blue cover in A5 and the Blazer Stripes Weeks zip cover that is navy blue with white pinstripes. 💙

I commented first on Instagram how nice the placement of the One Piece weeks was but watching this, you had to go through that 😢. We have similarities when it comes to planning & journaling, the difference is you’re into weeks while I’m into A6. I didn’t feel overwhelmed probably because I was zone in to One Piece already, the rest became a blur 😅

I was actually not fond of the selections for 2024. The aurora weeks for this year is absolutely gorgeous, I got it for work even though I should've gotta a Mega because it's October and I'm out of notes pages lol. So this year I got 2 Megas, one for work (lavender) and the raspberry sneaker weeks for personal. Not the biggest fan of pink, but I wanted to try the sneaker and could only get that color at the time. Sometimes I just want to buy their artist collab weeks and not use them...just collect them 😂. I also got a English edition cousin but I have a sinking feeling I might neglect it. I'm like you, the Weeks is just a perfect planner for me in every way. I just wish they did artist collabs for the Megas...maybe something to mention in their yearly survey?

I am going to try hobonichi for 2024. I've been in Happy Planner for about 3 years so I'm really nervous about the change 😅

I didn’t buy from Hobo this year and I’m still feeling a little weird about it! I still am in planner chaos and haven’t chosen my 2024 yet, but I do have a few selections at home and I might have bought one thing already.

Cecelia, where did you get the cover for your passport traveler’s notebook? I love it!

I agree making a choice was difficult because so many appealing options for me at least. I ended up with the cats bow and tie weeks. I love that green and cats, of course.
