I was pretty amped up to get one of these, but for almost $6K Canadian I can't justify the cost...Heck, a brand new gen 3 klr is only a thousand or so more.
Nah, the semi is great! I have 2 Cubs in Thailand and a Grom here in England. I very rarely use the 5th, I found that your forever tightening the bloody chain if you start getting to frisky on it! Plus I just like the clunky, no frills semi 4 on the Cub.
@@johnbeaney1237 I'm just not a fan of the performance on the semi or the odd shifting pattern. I had a Wave 125i before getting my Grom (MSX) and far prefer the manual. I tried the CT125 a few time and it just ruins the riding experience for me. That is al personal preference. If you like, more power to ya, keep riding!
Yes ,fair enough. Am thinking of getting a CT on a future Thailand trip. Would love to do some extensive touring out there. Good luck to your, stay safe.
@@johnbeaney1237 some great rides to be had in Thailand. if your based in Bangkok you can easily hit every part of the country. i have done a bunch, i’ve got got a video on my channel of a ride down the length if Sukhumvit (Rt 3) to the cambodian boarder and one through Khao Yai. I’ve done Rt 4 to the south but havnet filmed it yet
