I traded my Tacoma for a Ridgeline a few months ago and for daily driving it’s night and day better than the Tacoma, the interior has more space it’s quieter better storage, on the highway it’s smooth and it doesn’t downshift on hill’s like the horrible Tacoma 6 speed did, I recently did a road-trip 250 miles and I averaged 27.7 mpg doing 70-80 mph my Tacoma could never do that. Is it a suv with a pickup bed sure but it does everything I need, I don’t off-road or tow so it’s a perfect fit for me.

I test drove a new Tacoma SR5. It still felt like a Tacoma to me, even with the coil rear suspension and turbo4. I'll probably test a Ridgeline again and see where I land. Refinement and ride quality are my priorities these days! I will say the new Tacoma took on big hills with little fuss.

I have had my 2024 black edition for about a month now and love it. Previous truck was a Ford F- 150 which I liked but the Honda has much better ride and better gas mileage and can haul my 3000 lb boat without difficulty. I love the storage options and rear gate options. I would highly recommend to all those that don't need to haul 7000 lbs and just want a capable truck to haul a weight of up to 5000 lbs without difficulty to check out this vehicle.

I think these will begin selling really well since other unibody trucks have made it not the “lowest of the low” in people’s minds. Especially when they eventually update it to the new platform It’s a shame because it’s really good for what it is, bit ahead of its time I guess though

I have the trailsport 2024 just bought it and really for the same money I could have had the black edition. Wish I had bought the black edition so I would have the ventilated seats and power outlet in the bed.

I have this exact same TS trim & color.. they are kind of rare & hard to find for the most part.. I ordered mine via my local dealer.. yes, you can order a Honda! On the BE trim you get both heated & ventilated seats (front) standard.. the BE trim also adds heated outboard rear seats.. HVAC controls for the rear on the back of the center console.. a 540 watt sound system w/subwoofer.. & a 150/400 watt power outlet in the truck bed compartment.

I was really really close to buying one of these, but I ultimately ended up buying exactly what your pop has Charlie. Long bed red TRD off road Tacoma. Because the truck was my second car I didn’t need something as road refined, I already have a road trip car. The first time I scraped the bottom of the Tacoma getting logs for the season I finally felt like I made the right choice, I was still thinking I should have gotten the Ridgeline before then. If I was a one car kind of person, I would’ve ended up getting the Ridgeline and getting a longer log winch. The Ridgeline actually has a higher payload than my Tacoma as well which I always thought was funny.

Ridgeline has a pretty high payload because it has a very substantial frame underneath it. It just isn’t a ladder frame. It is also not just a chopped Pilot and is completely different from the front doors back and is adds a lot of structural strength compared to the Pilot.

They don't crush them, they usually go to auction, but yes, they are meant to be pushed more than most people would typically do with a personal vehicle.

I don't understand the point to leather seating it feels like ugly it looks ugly it starts to wrinkle after a year or two has the vehicle ages the leather seats look absolutely horrible, I'm not sure why they're putting this in their vehicles but they should stop I don't understand why they're putting this in their vehicles but they should stop just put some good quality fabric, I'll never buy another vehicle with leather seats just cheap quality material and they put it on the high-end vehicles how does this make any sense it's ridiculous!!!!!!!!
