Fun fact about "screen glitching red" It's actually game's way of telling you when a character has been busted open. Blood is off by default (lots of kids and teens are into WWE and they did chase that PG rating ever since those late 2000s) but can be turned on in the options menu.

@@UltimateGamerCC2k23 is actually decently polished. I haven’t seen any game breaking bugs. A couple crashes when making a custom character with a ton of layers but overall a pretty stable experience. I have over 150 hours put in as well. It’s a great game. The only reason I would advise against buying it is because it barley goes on sale and WWE2K24 is going to be releasing in a little under two months

Would be cool if you guys had a post fight analytics(the numbers). Fighter with most kills (eliminations) most time in ring. Most damage taken or delt. Dull machete (least amount of time in ring) golden chainsaw (most dynamic moment). Even a quick gender pie of combatants. I know it is more work, but I think it would raise the bar. I know nothing about WWE. I still adore this every year. Also 40:45 I love that we got Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton) taking out Patrick Bateman (Christian Bale). Two Batman actors fighting to see who can go crazier and Keaton delivered!

it'd be pretty sick if next year we saw some non-film entrants from the 2023 "weird" era of Dead Meat from when the strikes were happening - red guy from DHMIS, mr davidson from TGWDLM, junko enoshima from danganronpa, honestly most mortal kombat kharacters would be perfect for a royal rumble, especially liu kang, johnny cage, or sonya blade.
I honestly want to see a few combatants from movies James doesn't like, like Bo and Vincent Sinclair from the House of Wax remake. Or hell maybe even give the other Lost Boys a shot. Maybe Leatherface?

Looking through Vince Vaughn's filmography; there are only two more horror movie appearances: The Cell and Domestic Disturbance. He also has three Horror Adjacent movies: Lost World, Paparazzi, and The Locusts With Crime Drama being Two-ish with True Detective, I Love Your Work, with "Dragged Across Concrete" being more Crime Action. With Thumbsucker which is more Black Comedy: Chelsea has at least 8-9 more Vince Vaughn Appearances, and that's not even including "The Butcher" in Freaky!

If it wasn't established before, you guys are the undisputed king and queen of horror fandom. This year's and 2023 matches are both too much fun. The character picks, designs, and entrances are literally flawless. And your (not) unbiased blind commentary is also great. While I was slightly disappointed that there wasn't an underdog victor, I have to say that David was certainly bringing big 80s wrestling energy with his outfit and especially his bleach-blonde power mullet. Brenda will earn that title one day though, all the real ones know it!

The name of the move you were curious about that Red hit David Powers with at around the 49 minute mark is fittingly enough a Code Red, created by TNA/roh/Indy legend The Amazing Red. A Panama Sunrise is simply a destroyer but the person doing the move is seated on the turnbuckle and hops off the second rope before hitting the destroyer. It's what Adam Cole does a lot, he hops off the middle rope, landing with his opponents head between his legs so he can spring into a destroyer.
Low-key it got to me a little bit that they didn't make the connection. It's such a ubiquitous move; the pun was almost too obvious. But if it was totally incidental that the move-set James copied over to her had it, that's a pretty funny coincidence lol
Would be cool to see the winners of the Horror Royal Rumble face each other after the next one to claim the title of King of Horror. M3GAN vs. David Powers vs. 2025 Winner. There should be a video game where players can choose their favorite slasher/horror characters and roam around to find victims, while also taking on other monsters. Just imagine Jason, Michael, Freddy, Leatherface, Chucky, Ghostface, Predator, and many others going at it in a battle for dominance.
