Great little/big SUV, had my Bayon SE for a year now and can't fault it. Fuel economy is brilliant both around town and on longer trips, I have gotten 67 miles to the gallon. It is very comfortable and cruises at 70mph with ease. The boot has plenty of room for a wheelchair or a mobility fold-up scooter. This car changed my life and got me out and about again because it's very cheap to run and more importantly comfortable even on longer trips.
I’ve just bought one (in this colour) and I love it, so many extras for an entry level car. I think the design looks worse in videos and photos but actually look stylish when you see it live. And it’s the price that really won me over!
It is like Brussel Sprouts - you either love them or hate them. When I was younger (and had Hair), my Dad had a couple of Hyundai's. Great cars and very Reliable and the After Sales service was EXCELLENT. Brilliant revue, as usual, Tish. 😀😀😀
I own the Hyundai i20 and I can s ee a lot of similar trims and design! :) I can't complain about it since its nippy, comfortable and also practical for its size :). Great review Tish and keep up the good work as always! :)
@@Flypowerish yes in Malta I do around 350 - 400 km on 40 euros, which is not bad considering the amount of traffic we have. However its best to drive on 'eco' since in comfort and sport mode the consumption will increase.
Hi Tish, motorbikes and cars and beautiful. Ideal woman 😅 love your reviews - so many wooden presenters dressed like scruffs. You are always bubbly and smart. Presenters go on about plastics however my 17 yr old car a berlingo with really cheap looking plastics but do not scratch.dogs /tools/ bikes
I think it looks good from all angles but the dash is its biggest let down just like the i20. I agree the i20 is not bad to drive but plastics especially when campared to rivals from Renault and VW is just way behind quality wise. Hyundai can do better. They are not a small company and not a bargain basement brand anymore like say Dacia is so Hyundai should be doing better. Its the same for the Bayon rivals models like the Renault Captur, Peugeot 2008 ext are much nicer inside.
As a new driver (1 yr), I'm not familiar with cars and I'm driving my 2016 Toyota Yaris Icon Hybrid (this is my 1st car), which is also an entry model. I found this Bayon is quite similar to my Yaris: simple, easy to drive and understand, quite reliable...but Bayon includes more tech functions which sounds like an upgraded version as my next 2nd car! As a daily commuting city car I think Bayon would be very nice, but just one concern...my Yaris has a 1.5 engine, and Bayon just 1.0, does it make a significant difference?? Oh, and the looks...l like it a lot!
Stay with your Yaris ,do not compare Toyota with Hyundai . GDI engine from Hyundai are coming with so many problems, natural aspirated engine from Toyota are far better than those turbo GDI from Hyundai and Kia .
2 questions to hyundai Why don't you keep the cruise controls and audio buttons on the same side of the steering wheel ,regardless of the model? Why when you lower the boot floor does it sit on a slope (as does our 2024 kona )?
I always liked the look of the blue in my old i30, I never found them tiring on my eyes even after 12 hour night shifts. They have changed to white for my new Kona and I prefer the look of the blue.
