So much WOW once again, eP!! The sky-cam overhead shots lend a fantastic touch of realism on the replays, just like watching the real thing live on television! The way that it never picks up you filming with the chase cam is another testament to your pro-level skills, superb! A real _Sophie's Choice_ lineup tonight--so many drivers in the same grid that I've come to know, I can't cheer one over the rest. Great looking cars that perform well in this first ever open-wheel racing event at Pikes Peak! Good sponsor spots throughout, so organically placed in the show, never overshadowing the action
Thanks Chris!!! ❤️ we are really excited to work with this company and believe 100% in their products. I was a HUGE fan long before I ever made contact with them, so to be able to work with a company that I love is just a dream!
You nailed it, Chris! Right from the opening shot where for the first time I've seen, we see down to the lower levels of the mountain while looking at the starting grid, it seemed EP had upped the ante in diecast cinematography. There should be an award for this kind of work! Or at least another hundred thousand subscribers! Geez, when he gets there he'll have one heckuva video library! Oh- and I was almost going to dismiss the sponsor until I saw the 15% off code until I paused and checked the description for the link because it was so well integrated I was waiting for a joke or a punchline. Well done on the smoothness of the integration and getting a sponsor, EP!
@@epvideosdiecastracing I forgot to mention Aaron & Richard at GTR! And hey, we're just letting the enthusiasm flow naturally in the moment when we write- it's YOU who does all the heavy lifting and we're just enjoying it!
I had one small concern about the use of TRAP5 wheels on your car at first but with a performance like this, no way those doubts could linger! Kudos, Nick!! 💯😎🏁
@@Chris_Hood I made sure they were smooth and fast before putting them in the car. Surprisingly I still have lots of FTEs that wobble quite a bit and never make it on to race cars. Not all FTEs are equal lol. Hopefully I can stay fast. Seems my builds start out fast and the turn into duds in the second/third rounds.
@@TinyTrackCars FTE/NPA was a great gimmick for very casual play value. Give crafty builders half a chance and they'll bend every iota of skill to outstrip that performance. What has taken me by surprise is the rise in the use of MarioKart wheels for open track racing, and DeLorean Time Machine wagon wheels in drag racing. You know me, I'm utterly fascinated by wheel types; whenever a new one appears on the market, I wonder each time is this the next big thing in the racing scene
Great racing fellas. Those vehicle looks awesome. Ned and R Lo the class of this group. Looks like mine is going to last 😭😭😭😢😢😢❤lol. Great work EP until next episode
Don't be too harsh on yourself Puff--these cars leave so little room inside for modding. Feels like pickup trucks are the easier build, huh? Wheel & axle treatment become even more critical for success with F1/Indy racing. And hey, you built where I didn't, for what that's worth!
Absolutely great as always. Those open wheels handle much better than i thought. On most tracks they are hard to watch. They did great some great builds. And your stuff as always was perfect your one of the best for sure looking forward to more of this series.
Great racing. Awesome to see open wheelers at Pikes Peak. Plenty of elbows out today, I think they paint swapped more than the regular cars. Going to be a great tournament 🏁
Fantastic track, camera work, and editing as always. Candy to the eyes, I love it. Interesting to see the different takes on open-wheel racing. A 6 car rotation versus a 4 car rotation at Boss Championship, where as, I've been running 18 of these cars at time with the GRID-6 formation over multiple tracks with points only scored on the final lap for more realism. Let me know if you are interested in participating in F1 next year.
@@epvideosdiecastracing ever since the collab with you & _The Skyway_ I have heard a new energetic edge come out in your announcing Everyone dislikes their own voice when heard in a recording or video, don't let that hold you down! Gene Hackman really didn't like watching his own work, and look what he accomplished in his field 👍
@@epvideosdiecastracingPeople can't gauge their own voice quality on recordings, you sound normal. Your enthusiasm is the most important factor, and you have that natural enthusiasm which cannot be faked.
