As usual, nothing went as planned. I had to hand light it with a candle lighter. Due to underestimating how long the setup would take, I had to make the call about an hour and a half before go time. I did the best I could, but there's several spots of dead sky. The cakes were already laid out for it to be fired electronically, so I had to run back and forth to try and hit two or three cakes at the same time - while trying not to take a shot to the face, or trip over a cake or stake in the ground. Towards the end, I looked up for a minute and saw cars on the side of my street - and I thought for sure they were cops - so I hurried up and hit a few fuses and started walking back to the house. What I didn't realize was they were just cars stopped to watch the show. At that point I felt the momentum of the show had crashed, so I walked back and hit a Raccoon 100 shot instant salute and called it a show. Surveying the damage afterward, I realized I failed to light several cakes - including a couple 200 gram boards that were leading up to the finale. Also, there really wasn't a finale. I freaked out when I thought the cops arrived and blew it. But, oh well - there's always next year. All in all, I missed about 12 500 gram cakes and a couple 200 gram boards that had full cases on them. But anyway - here it is. Enjoy.
