Kyle Chaney put on quite a show during the third lap of the 2024 Progressive King of the Hammers Presented by Nitto Tire and Powered by OPTIMA Batteries. He limped across the finish line physically in 1st place and shocked everyone. For a while, no one could understand how a UTV could possibly win in the 4400 unlimited class. That dream would be swept away less than an hour later after corrected time and penalties were calculated, Kyle finished in 8th place.

Penalties or not.... this was the story of the race. Kyle is a mad man. Cannot wait to see what he does to the 4400 Maverick R for next year.

I thought that Kyle would be racing on the Maverick R but, this looks like the modified X3 of last year.

It’s amazing no people announcing or the race director knew he missed a trail and ran a bypass? We know it happened but how’s it possible they didn’t know until after the race?

As a guy that actually was in the booth announcing for the UTV races, we only get to see what the guys in the production trail put in front of us. Many trails don’t have cameras.
