Mdg's coverage is awesome commentators are great camera work is pretty good, enjoy watching from start to finish, never boring, love the hole descriptions before the hole, very informative.
Is it just my computer or are the MDG media videos weirdly under/over exposed to such an extent that I can't get the brightness right on my screen? I always have to strain to see the discs or even be able to distinguish main features on the holes. Before I get slammed... I'm saying this to attempt to be helpful. If nobody says it, it won't improve. I love the fact that someone has taken up the mantle of doing coverage of the pro tour in Europe. I want them to get to the Jomez level. It can be done.
Do you have HDR turned on? It has worked very weirdly for me for a few days, only on youtube, making the image very overexposed. So I wonder if you maybe have the same issue
I dont know man, his mustache sure is good, but i think getting rid of the beard on the chin has exposed....not even a nice jawline or chin.....i cant be the only one seeing this?!? No hate on the player he most likely plays better golf than i will ever play. But i think he looked cooler with full beard :D
@@janmartin468 Hard to tell with a mustache. My first reaction was that it was meant to be ironic / retro. But then I remembered jomez talking about how he used to have anger issues, so probably not meant to be ironic. He does have great angle control. But if I had a dollar for each time they commented on that, I think I'd be up to about $15 or $20 between round 1 / round 2 coverage.
Just a personal opinion: while a high fly over looks cooler, a low fly through shows the hole better. You could do both, but a lower flight would be easier to follow
I love this style of content constant action I was mad I couldn’t see the whole tournament live while it was happening but this is great for a guy catching up on monday
interesting to see gannon playing with eagle and simon beat in discs. Eagle has to season his bag and learn his discs. Not to mention he's getting acclimated from injury as well.
Respectfully speaking as a film school graduate, the cameramen (women) could use some more practice....work that zoom is number 1, adjust the exposure levels, anticipate angles and delivery, and read disc flight more accurately so as not to fear collision.
He's like the Larry Bird of Disc Golf, he literally calls out what he is going to do in his practice round videos and then he just makes it happen big time lol
Let's GOOOO Eagle! So happy to see you back on the lead card. And you didn't disappoint on Hole #1! Didn't hit the shot, but it was awesome to see someone who could, try!
I cant watch this one. The quality is terrible and its the only video not giving me the option to raise the quality. Im assuming it was uploaded in 320p. You can not see the discs flying at all and it makes it not fun to watch. Its just people walking and making weird movements. Cant even see the chains move
@@MDGMedia it says quality is unavailable to adjust. Idk why. I've reset the app and everything. Ended up watching it bad but now watching round 3. None of the other videos had that issue.
I never realized how much shorter these are. I think its because there's less follow flights, slowmez, and chase card stuff. I do still prefer Jomez tho
@@simonb5965 joemez is great. Very high quality, I just have a hard time watching 1 hour or longer episodes for an entire tournament. And I don’t watch live. This is nice to just see lead card play and be done.
These guys are a bit dry and monotone but that could just be English not being their native language. The Jomez guys can be cringe for sure but there's a playful aspect to it that's just human.
I don’t like some of the greens on this course. It brings a lot of luck into play. For example, Eagle almost aces hole 6 and rolls all the way down the hill. And doesn’t even have a shot to putt it back for par. Putting greens on 45 degree slopes is a bad design. In the first two rounds nobody has birdied the starting hole. I’m sure viewers love seeing people lay up to the opening hole 👎
Agreed, it feels like it just punishes good shots half the time and brings so much luck into the game that has nothing to do with the shots the players are throwing.
Yup, there's just too much of sloped greens on this course. It's fine when like 1 or 2 greens require that precise touchy shot, but when almost every hole has some slope or water or ob inside the circle it makes it kinda annoying to watch sometimes. I'm starting to be a bit surprised with that "best rated course in the world". I mean it's amazing, so well maintained, incredible views, some crazy good holes BUT overall feeling from watching is kinda mixed. I also can't imagine this to be fun to play.
These commentary guys are dry and super boring 😴. Nothing funny, interesting, exciting or surprising comes out of their mouths. Mix it up a bit guys! Be excited or say a joke or something. Snoozefest DGmedia
@@markmcgarity lol. there's a story about chris langan with 200 iq and he enjoys tending his farm and animals, get off of your high horse, ya douche! xd
