Sure the CX-5 is way overdue for a redesign but does it really need it? The brand spanking new CX-50 shares its drivetrains so it must be up to date in that department. Come along for a point of view highway drive and fuel economy test. Even though its design is a little long in the tooth, the CX-5 still competes with all the new shiny models from Honda, Toyota, and Kia. And the turbo makes this a terrifically fun car to drive.
