Talk about a bare bones spec. This is why you gotta order these custom since most dealers and owners order these cars with no options to save money 😂 This one doesn't have acoustic comfort and 4 zone climate control which are mandatory

May 18, 2024 -- I got a call from my local MB dealer in VA today. The 2025 GLE AMG 53 and 63 order books are open now! I ordered my new ride while speaking to the dealership rep on the phone. I got a production date for late July. Delivery will be about the second week in August 2024. Too easy, folks.

@@jonathantownsend1693 Thanks for asking. The SUV was built at the Tuscaloosa plant on August 7, 2024. A RORO trailer truck driver delivered the SUV to the MB dealership at Virginia Beach, VA., on Aug 17, 2024. I pick up the 2025 AMG GLE 53 on Saturday, August 24, 2024. Paint color is selenite grey with black Napa leather interior. Trim is carbon fiber. Wheels are the beautiful 22" double spoke jobs. Also, a 2025 SL55 will be built for us in Germany on October 25th. Delivery is promised by Christmas! Yea!!!!

its common for dealership cars lol. From Toyota all the way to BMW and Audi, every dealer ive visited some of there cars have the engine light on. pretty sure its some dealership setting the car is in which causes that.

I hate the lower rear bumper, it’s just a large black thick plastic cladding and also roof should have been totally blacked out. MB could bump up the horse power to match the likes of the competition.

I ordered a 2024 AMG GLE 63 S in October 2023. Today is March 6, 2024 and I still do not have a production date from the MB dealership. I see many 63s in U.S. inventory now, so I know the car is being built in Germany and shipped. Anyone know why Special Orders are taking more than 6 months?

This vehicle is actually built in Alabama, USA. The Engine and Transmission are they only major components built by AMG in Germany. I am curious on an update as well as I am on the allocation list with my local MB dealer and was assured it wouldn't be near 6 months...

CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON!!! Ben, you lose credibility when you choose to go mum about the bright yellow engine light on the display. I can tell it bother you when you were driving it, made you lose focus about what you wanted to say about the driving experience. Scotty Kilmer made a video on his channel on a car like this which had hundreds of error codes. A guy named Jaret Campisi has a video of how he got one and had numerous problems with it. Probably the vehicle that aesthetically I like the most, but I am well aware it has horrendous reliability record.

Question to me -- Differences between 2023 model and 2025 model? Answer -- I have no idea. I wanted a new MB. I did not want to pay $25K extra for an engine that I will never race in downtown Norfolk, VA where the speed limit is 25 mph.
