"No G class driver" is the term you're looking for. I'd send that overpriced jeep into the desert with 33s while the Beverly hills guys can roll around in their 150k status symbol on 28" rims
Ok so....first off - PROPER display of your vehicle's capabilities. I'm sold. If any other car manufacturer would show their products potential, they might just compete with the G Class. Why don't they actually demonstrate their cars?! And secondly, did anyone notice just how RELAXED/NORMAL the guy was! I mean, even I was freaking out on that ramp and he's like, "eh, it's a G Class"
That's the paradox of this car. One of the best stock car you can get on the market when it comes to offroad capabilities. Its triple mechanical differential locks is nowadays unique, only the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon offers this possibility too. This feature beats the Range Rover and Toyota Land Cruiser which are also references in this category. Only in water wading depth is the G Class beaten by the Ford Ranger (800 mm) and the Land Rover Range/Disco/Defender (900 mm). The problem is its price tag. Very very few people can afford this car and among them who would go offroading with a car that costs 150k€+ ?? Only people you see with a G Class are bling bling people from the jet set, who would never drive off the city. They don't have the skills anyway to drive off road lol. It's such a pity and a waste when you consider the real potential of this car. But hey, same thing applies to owners of a Range Rover. In the end, people who really do offroading buy an old Land Cruiser from the 90s and specially prepare it for offroad.
It's not a paradox )) It's a brilliant marketing! The goal is TO SELL. And G-wagen's capabilities is just a marketing TOOL )) Since off-roading is NOT smth vital.

Mind blowing shots revealing G's capabilities! Simply adore G-classes. Wondering how current model changed comparing to the prev. one in terms of breaking the records for such enormous obstacles... If anyone could advise the link comparing the current and prev. model on a similar test site, difficult terrain - I'd highly appreciate it.
You’d be surprised what SUVs like the Range and G wagon are really cabable of. There are enthusiasts that will take the fanciest of Euro suv and push them to the limit. And typically if u can afford the a G or a Land or Range, then typically u can afford the maintenance and cost of damages lol
Well as soon as I get rich enough for one of these I’m gonna learn how to off road it and do exactly that. I’ll have a separate car for city driving and take this one out to nature 🤘🏽🔥
