2024 MK8.5 Ford Fiesta ST3 Facelift: End Of An Era 

I have a 25% shorter shift throw, higly recommened. My one came with a carbon shifter and st branded mud flaps. I put the stock shifter on, and quickly switched back to my carbon knob. My boot has auto open spring struts. I have disk brake cooling ducts and endless pads an absolute must. Pilot sport 4, ive tried the 4s and 5 but they are not as good. out of the many winter tyres I found for daily / racing / tracking in winter Vorsteiner is a great way to go. I have put wireless android auto into my car, another huge recommendation. And I am playing around with the idea of a catch can, but honestly, after the nordschlife cheveniers, and spa. I dont feel its nessesary. There is not much more I would do to my car, Maybe adjustable shocks, but thats only if you track often, the suspension on the car for daily driving is perfect. Depending on what country your in, I keep my tyre pressure for daily driving a little lower then recommended. perfect for switzerland. .2 higher bar in the back then the front. track with esp on and gear changes up between 4 and 5, rev matching w 3 to 2 down. sweet spot on my car. I can tail ND MX5s GR86s the lower end caymens and just about keep up with the GR yaris's on track or passes. My next purchase will be wind deflectors on the windows as wind flow hits the back windows if the front ones are open, the only soluton there to stabilize the cabin is to open the back windows, which does create noticable drag.

Hey Sam, I am an mk 8.5 owner I have one of the unusual european vairents, the Swiss FP ST-x ST3 and I have had alot of conversations with ford about this car. I can answer alot of your questions. That driver side auto down only window is a weight savings / security windows, all the others are manual for weight savings. I’m of an age I’m 61 lol I purchased an ST Puma 1.5 8 months ago fantastic red with performance pack and sunroof brand new. I’ve been a Ford customer for 38 years and the direction they are going I’m astounds me . 1993 I had an escort cosworth brand new and it broke my heart to sell it three years later when I got married lol Can’t see me getting another Ford after 38 years and I really loved the brand they have clised hundreds of deal ships including mine a Ford dealer of 87 years think my next car will be Toyota or Volkswagen . nearly got what 21:22 three years later

Can't believe Ford has stopped making the Fiesta. When Ford gets something right they really get it right. Just looks fun unlike all those SUV's that look the same. Good video Sam

Does anyone know how many fiesta st3 facelift mk8.5 was actually made all together for the uk market ? Just be interesting how many it was. Even though it was only just over a year from starting production from when they stopped production.

Dreadful ride quality, fidgity and the car tramlines on any uneven surfaces,seats are far too large for the car,alloy wheel finish marks/chips very easily,Michelin pilot sport 4 tyres a expensive as 205/40/18 are a uncommon size,Matrix headlights are amazing for a car in this category,digital binnacle is excellent ,sound of engine/exhaust in sport mode makes ya smile😂Fiesta ST3 overpriced £28000..will l miss it come time to change...yeah 😢

I have one the same in white. Great little hot hatch. Don’t think I’ll be changing it for some time 😊.

I didn't think there were any 24 plate ST's about? I wouldn't charge my car with it been one of the last 8.5 3dr, get 40mpg it's a keeper👍

The ST is more fun, at least in my experiance on mountain passes. I have driven a few nice cars, couple of Caymens, Carrera 4s, a gt3 RS. I find the smaller more agile precision cars are much more fun, for me my car or an ND RF MX5 any day of the week over anything else.

Eco for when your looking to save money on gas, normal for your standard daily, but I find "when off a track" Track mode with tcs on is much nicer then sport mode. less agressive vectoring less wasting fuel on the pops and bangs "which you still get when you drive hard" I find that i get an average of 7.4 consumption on sport where as when I am pushing it on track mode Im up in the 8s

There’s currently 1 brand new Fiesta ST listed on AutoTrader, at a Liverpool Ford dealer. Gotta be the last one surely? Sad to see them go.

I've always loved the Fiesta, unfortunately I don't own the ST version but I recently bought a 2nd hand Vignale Edition in black, and I love driving it, great car with a touch of luxury. It's sad that Ford have taken the decision not to produce these cars any more. Great video.

Think ford have given up on us petrol head enthusiasts. Doesn’t look like ford are interested in manufacturing performance models anymore. Surely they have to realise that electric suv’s aren’t the way to go for the future. Maybe hybrids yes but we can all be spending standing around for an hour waiting for our cars to get charged.

I have been driving my little green beaST for just over two years now. I can't stop driving it, such an amazing car to drive. Love how playfull steering is. That hyperactive power steering helps to communicate what front wheels are doing to the point that even if you get close to the limit, you know exactly when and how to react. Equipment is also just spot on. Couple of comfort features that you really use, nothing excessive. Maybe I just wish that blindspot monitoring was still there and heated mirrors - that's it. Traveled through Germany, Italy, Poland, Netherlands. I even had a sleep in the car during Nurburgring race event 😂 So many good memories. Lovely to see You Sam enjoying it so much and beeing so passionate about it.
