Welcome to our morning routine! In this clean with me I am sharing a behind the scenes look at what it is like getting two kids ready for school in the morning before I start my day of cleaning. That and cat food/ dog food. If that gets delivered in the ONLY person who sees it. No one else can take it down to where we keep it for the animals. It just sits there and sits there as they allllll walk right past it.

When my daughter was a toddler she became really fussy with food, she would eat Spag bol all the time or cereals, I went to the doctor as I was worried and he said if she will only eat cereal mainly then let her as there's plenty of goodness in variety of cereal, I never forced foods or punished her and she came out good and now at 26 she having the same issues with my 2yr old grandson and she gets frustrated, I'm like ye I remember those days 😂😂😂

Hahaha I feel like most kids are soooo picky. Very few eat a good variety of foods. All three of mine are severe cases of picky eaters lol

Yes I’m the parent that won’t make my babies eat or eat everything my parents were the opposite and so was my husband when I was married

It just doesn’t make sense if you think that one through haha! Unless and I do this often I will put what I expect them to eat on their plates and it’s usually a small amount. Of course they can have more if they want but I do expect them to eat the little I gave them but we already have huge portion sizes here in America haha

I really agree with your thoughts on forcing kids to eat things they don't like, i grew up like you did and i don't agree with it either and didn't raise my children with that rule.

Loved seeing your morning routine! It reminded me of the days on youtube when morning/evening routines and power hours were so popular, I loved those 😂 great video as always! I hate the pink stuff for cleaning but it does work really great on pots and pans that have stuck on food on them that won’t come off.

New Subbie here! And I just want to say… what you said about your daughter’s room and what your kids eat is so refreshing to hear! This is how I was raised and when I used to hear my friends say the opposite I was shocked! I’m an older millennial, 39, so my parents were an anomaly in allowing me to be an individual but I’m glad to see our generation is changing that! Trust me when I say your babies will be far more confident in their choices because they’ve grown up with parents who trusted they knew what was right for them! As you said… within reason! 😉☺️😻

I agree about forcing kids to eat foods they don’t enjoy. My rule is I’m only making one meal, though. If they want something else, they have to make it. Of course, my kids are 12, 14 and 15, so they’re completely capable of fixing themselves something.

I didn't love The PInk Stuff Paste when I bought it either. I ended up having to toss it. It didn't do the job I bought it for and it was difficult to work with and did leave a film. I loved seeing your morning routine. It's always so interesting to see how everyone does their thing. Hank is just getting so big. I started watching you when you were like 7 months pregnant with him, I think. Thanks for the motivation!

Yes grew up in 70s you ate without complaining and every thing. Totally disagree. It’s not just if you like it or not but what if they just feeling yucky. My dad use to make us read the Bible. It turned me away from wanting to read it. I was in my late 30s before I gradually started reading it

For the pink stuff after you rinse the sink take a microfiber cloth and wipe it dry. You will see all the dirt come off and the sink will be super shiny 😊 edit: that grey stuff coming off on your sponge is normal. It's dirt and grime.

I agree with you a 100% that the kids room. It's their sanctuary, just like we have our sanctuary in our home and in our room. And we have it the way we want it. So I agree with you a 100%. It may not be our taste what we like. We may not like a lot of clutter or whatever, but you know what? If that makes them happy. That is what counts at the end of the day period and also I don't see anything in the world wrong with you going in and cleaning your children's room and adding your special touch to it. And you know what I agree with you when you say that you would like for them to try something But if they don't like it, I do not make my son eat It anyway, just because it's on the plate. That's just being forceful in my opinion, when we know that they're gonna gag and throw it up. That's just not a good thing. And I don't mind If they don't finish everything on their plate, it's no big deal. I am not going to make them do that. Especially when I know they're full I don't even do that. I think that's a wonderful thing that a mother cares enough To go in their child's room and help them out and really give it a good deep clean. Nothing wrong with that at all.

Personally my kids will never go hungry because they have to eat most of, what I put on their plate. If they want some of their favorite stuff, they also need to eat some nutritious foods. My kids don’t fight me on anything because I explain to them why I’m giving it to them, and I only start of with giving them a smaller portion.

My kids have to eat nutritious foods too they just will never be forced to eat something they don’t like. Kensley hates potatoes and I will never force her to eat them. I will substitute something for her or omit that from her meal that evening. My mom used to make me eat horrific things and I’m not even being dramatic. I will do a story time. If I didn’t eat them I went to bed hungry.

My kids have to try at least 3 bites if they don’t like it after the third bite they’re welcome to something else. I feel like sometimes one bite just isn’t enough especially when they’re already dead set on not liking it to begin with!!

How often would you say you change the bed sheets? I do once a week unless the dogs stain it. (We allow our dogs up) and wash is every other day to stay on top. With 5 people and 2 dogs I’m sure you get it also same here. 5/2

We have like a weird food thing. Like I always make a meat and 2 sides and 1 that I know they’ll love. And their plate starts off with like 2-3 bites of everything for them to give it a chance and then when their done they decide what they get more of if they want more. That way if they really didn’t like it they are like forced to eat a lot I just want them to give it a chance. I have 4 kids so somethings a couple love but a couple hate and if I know they hate it I put like the tiniest bite on their plate for them to try to see if they still hate it just because I feel like their taste changes as they grow. For example my 5 yr old hated broccoli in any form forever and I finally got her to try broccoli and cheese and she absolutely loves it it’s always on her second plate of what she wants more of and I love that. But for her it’s a color thing if it’s green she just assume she hates it. So if she truly doesn’t like it then I’m fine but I make her try it. I remember hating fish growing up and most meats and I always forced to eat it not eating was not even an option and now I like certain fish but most of it is a no and I have learned it’s mostly how it’s cooked and apparently my dad wasn’t the best at getting the fishy taste out and that’s what kills it for me. But with 4 I cannot make myself cook 4 separate meals every night so that’s why I always choose 1 thing that I know my picky eater will love even if that’s the majority of what she ate that night at least she was fed and full and happy.

I don’t use one. My hair is also dry and frizzy. Currently still recovering from 50% hair loss and now have new growth causing me to appear fuzzy. It’s been a long and hard journey.

I have to remind myself pretty often that my 8yr old daughter's room is HERS to have how she wants. She likes to display everything and it drives me nuts but she just has a different organizing style than me..and thats ok ❤

Truly agree with everything you’re saying like my mom used to make steak and liver and rice and she knew that I did not like it so she knew at that age steak and liver looked the same to me so while she was cooking she asked me if I wanted to taste it she gave a piece of the steak because she knew the difference so l just thought nothing about no liver at all .So as she made our plates she knew that I really liked steak and gravy so she asked me do I want a little extra on my plate and of course I said yes and She said you better eat it then she will beat me for it or made me sit there for hours and hours and save it for the next day or until it hard as a rock, and then I wouldn’t eat until she said so I would double up on food at school.My Mother was cruel.

That is definitely one thing my husband and I have really tried very hard is to make sure we respect our children and their boundaries, how can we expect them to respect us if we don’t show that. The dreaded eat what I make or you can not eat at all, or the no vegetables no dessert. That was one of the very first decisions we made as parents to never do to our children. We definitely try to let them have a healthy relationship with food. We understand as parents our kids are dealing with stress with school and whatever else they are doing, and I didn’t like it when my parents would tell me I had things so easy compared to them, I wasn’t allowed to feel stressed or anxious. I definitely always keep that open communication with my kids so they know they can always come to my husband and I

Before I use the pink stuff, I always do the power wash. Dawn power wash, clean my sink and then I will clean with the scrub. Mommy or scrub daddy sponge and the pink stuff paste. And then I rinse it and then buffet out with a dry cloth and your sink will be perfection. You need to always have your Sponge wet

I have the pink cleaner but haven’t used it yet and the dollar tree makes one but I haven’t used it yet either. I been wanting a Mac computer but the hubby says no. We just had to buy a new washer and dryer. We got a dishwasher too but I was on the fence about that bc I’ve never had one. Loved the morning routine! Kinsley looks so grown!!! And her hair, which is beautiful, has gotten so dark. I remember when she was small how blonde her hair was. Excited you got a new computer. You deserve that!! Also, I totally agree on your ideas about meals and kids. We have been the same way with our own kids. Try it, if you don’t like it, that’s fine. And we never make them finish all their food either.

I may come back n edit this but wanna make sure I don't forget these! First, loved the morning routine! That totally tracks in my house as well lol! I'm not 100% sure but I think when you were picking up the blanket under the hanging stuffed animals you sneezed, so God bless you! I am soooooo with you on the kids room! I also have to remember it's their room so I'm glad I'm not the only one. I also agree with you with the kids and food. My parents were the same way as yours but I am like you...definitely need to try it...sometimes I will make them try it again (whether it's months later or what cause sometimes things change) but yes still same, if they really don't like it then I do not force them. But also like you, I'm don't push the way I do things on others, they can do what works for them and I will keep doing what I feel is best😃 I have yet to try the pink stuff but when i use the scrub daddy power paste on my sink or stove, after rinsing it i will then follow it up w another cleaner(all purpose or whatver) n that usually takes away any residue..on my stove after that i will then use sprayway glass cleaner..i have a glass cooktop. And dont get it twisted...this process happens like once or twice a month not everyday or even week🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Loved getting to see your Morning routine! I always liked your vlogs. Please do more of them. I use the pink paste on my flat stovetop and my bottom of all my pans and it does great. I use it with a lot of water and a smaller amount. I had the problem thinking it was a paste like my Wymans stovetop cleaner and it’s not. I use a really wet sponge with mine. But it did leave a white residue in my sink so now I use it and then rinse with Dawn and water. Definitely try it on the bottoms of your pots and pans (not on the inside) It cleaned mine great. BTW- I was always so glad when my kids grew out of stuffed animals. They bugged me being everywhere. LOL!

Your so right, forcing to eat can cause eating disorders. Also children develop their taste buds at different stages. As many kids including myself l could NOT eat veggies, now as an adult l can not get enough.

I’m 64 and if we didn’t eat what my Mother cooked we went hungry because she couldn’t afford two different meals so we held our noses if we didn’t like it and ate it. I was a bit more lenient with my own kids and they love all sorts of food because I let them try all sorts of things. It is different now because of the choice we all have. Back in the 60’s there wasn’t the choice so our Mums probably did the best they did with what they had to work with. Great vid. Thank you for sharing. 🤓🇬🇧

True not nearly as many choices. And their parents before them come from a time where people had next to nothing a lot of times so it makes sense why these rules were made but the world changes and rules should change too!

I like that you talk about breaking generational curses. Looking back I think my parents did a great job at that. They never forced my brother or I to eat every single thing on our plate. We had to eat our veggies of course but if we couldn't finish it wasn't the end of the world. I'm not a very picky person but my parents would never force us to eat anything we didn't like either. My parents would do their best to cook food that were nutritious and also that we would eat and enjoy. My parents grew up with the opposite. They grew up poor and were forced to eat whatever they had money for that day. I am noticing the curses my parents broke when they became parents. Truly that's something a person will never forget.

❤ yay I really like these videos way better your morning routines and night routines I also miss it when you used to do it these kind of videos in your old house as well when the girls were younger and when you used to go to Walmart and Kirkland's day in the life it's nice to switch things up once in a while!😊 I have also been watching a lot of RU-vid videos sadly about Chris Watts and his wife Shannon it's so sad.😢 anyways thanks for sharing your morning routine so much better when you switch things up thank you have a blessed day❤

I use the pink stuff to clean my glass cook top stove and I love it. Also during the holidays I use the pink stuff to polish my sterling silver flatware. It did a beautiful job. Of course I hand washed it afterwards. Maybe it is a little too harsh for your stainless steel. Oh , I almost forgot that I use it on outside furniture in the summer. Really gets off the outside dirt.

Adults get to pick what they want to eat all the time. I still don't like the things my parents made me eat. I also don't like some of the things in my kiddos room but I try to let them have it their way because it is their space and I want them to enjoy it. However I just redecorated my oldest daughters room and let her pick her theme and colors and doubled checked with her mulitiple times. She went to the store with me. Shortly after, it was done she didn't like it after I spent all the monies so I told her it is staying that way for awhile. Lol. Have a great week!

I totally agree about the generational curses. I'm trying to break the "a child does not have a right to an opinion and that it's my way or the highway" within reason of course and the speaking or rather barking at my kids to get them to do things. I am not perfect I'm not a pushover either but I want to do better by my kid.

I 💯 agree that we need to be more understanding with our kids and not do with them what we didn’t like done to us. I try not to repeat my parent’s mistakes and respect them as little human beings. I also agree that schools are way more demanding than in our time. These kids have a full day at school and still bring home hours of work. Great video.

Completely agree with you on the food thing!! If my son does not like something we absolutely will not force him to eat something he doesn’t want. That’s so cruel and inhumane to me.
