I’m fine with plastic on the sides, and I’m really glad that the glass is not glass. Idk what anyone says. Glass isn’t premium, glass is fragile, and is just one more thing to break.

I have to admit I love that fake leather back on the phones! I have no idea why they put glass or plastic on the back. It's not strong and it's slippery...
I've had mine for 5 days, I paid $259.99 at Metro Pcs. I've taken videos and photos and they look spectacular, the battery life is incredible. I am 100% a fan of the Samsung galaxy line, and I choose this over the Galaxy S23 FE. Honestly, for me it's one of the best cell phones of 2024.
No the phone is not trash I have the s23 Fe and the battery life is atrocious also the phone overheats it may have the snapdragon 8 gen 1 but that processor is notorious for overheating and battery drain issues so the phone takes great photos and video but there's no micro SD card expansion and I would chose the a54 or a35 over the s23 Fe if i had to go back but the new stylus is a great phone i have it myself and I'm loving it
@@SirDedrick I've heard the same all around and it's the reason I have a35 it is better optimized over a54 I had that phone as well and for the a55 that didn't come to America most still choose a35 over a 55 I like Samsung over any other device. ✊🏾 But I have heard about s23 fe. Battery life is important to me. Big ups young man ✊🏾
As I said, I'm a Samsung fan. The Samsung Galaxy may be one of the best brands, but the phones overheat and the battery life is horrible. I've only charged this Motorola twice in the 5 days I've had it. And regarding the software, if it's only a year, Motorola will probably do something about it, since the phone is selling a lot. Regarding the Samsung A series, only the A52 came out well. A53 had microphone issues, A54 had battery issues, and A55 didn't make it to the US. So far the A35 2014 and Stylus 2024 are basically the same in specs, with the difference in software and price, Motorola 1 year of update and 3 security patches vs Samsung 3 years and 5 years of security patches. For now I'm very happy with the Motorola stylus 2024.
This looks like the best Motorola phone in a few years. It has a mid range price at $399 or cheaper depending on where you get it. And the build quality and screen are much better. I do wish they would’ve put in a snapdragon 7 gen 1 at least to give us a proper upgrade and more support. I’m heavily considering switching to this from my iPhone because I’m tired of iOS and miss Motorola.

Also - customer service chat is in person - on-line face to face!!! And the Motorola person I talked to lives in Colorado USA. She knows this phone personally and answered every question I had. Also, she did not act like I was bother - but was glad to help. I ordered this phone and it is coming on Sunday. I can hardly wait. P.S. I did not leave Samsung - after my s3 s4 s7 s9 & s10, Samsung left me with the withdrawl of the sd expanded storage and no phone jack. I an so looking forward to this Motorola Stylus 5g 2024!
I wholeheartedly agree! I used to be loyal to Samsung and LG and I would not consider any other brand. Unfortunately, Samsung has been on the path of taking away features such as SD card and headphone jack because of this, I can no longer buy their products. Samsung and apple charge more money and give you less. There seems to be a lot of features packed into this Moto phone. I hope they don't let us down!
Unfortunately the $199 Moto g stylus only has 6 gigs of RAM. Google the specs. Only the unlocked version has the full 8 gigs of RAM. Other than that, you have a great phone.
@@mike.4277not true at all Mike Mike...I got mines from Straight talk for 200 big ones! When I go to settings, then about phone, it says, 8gb ram plus 4 ram boost. Great phone man!!!
I got this phone for free as a new customer to Cricket wireless and this device is a mid-range beast! I'm a long time Motorola user. I've owned budget, mid-range and flagship Motorola's and this is the best Motorola device I've owned. Oh and I had both the 2022 and 2023 G Stylus phones and the 2024 model beats those two devices easily.
In my honest opinion, I said it's definitely worth it for the money.I know for a lot of consumers that purchase Motorola devices.They're definitely not feeling the 1 year.Operational system update to me.Yeah that's a little questionable. But overall, I was pleasantly surprised about how good this phone really is.I've never owned a moto g Stylist device, ever because, to me.They just look cheap and didn't interest me at all.But this one really surprise me. Battery life crazy good? I was using the phone from about 5 AM this morning and it barely got to like 25% around 12:30. And that was using it straight through. DefinitelyYou got four hundred would recommend this one to someone
Interesting that you say this is arguably the best (budget $400) phone of the year. Expensive budget phone I think. So even with Motorolas lousy record of updates compared to Samsung A35 with its 4/5 year updates you think it’s still a better phone? I have a Samsung A34, would you recommend I trade it in for this new 2024 Moto G Stylus ?

@@unlockingsmartphones760 you should be able to watch up to 4k 60fps on RU-vid but remember this phone screen is only FHD+ (2400 x 1080) 1080p! So it’s best to just watch RU-vid on 1080p 60fps
I bought the moto g 5G 2023 on 4th of July sale. It's kind of an annoying phone. It's kinda annoying to hold. Annoying to talk on. Email and PDFs are amazing tho. It never loses network connection. It's kinda annoying to stream videos. Music is kinda annoying over my earbuds. I think this phone was made to be a little annoying so you don't use it while walking and driving. I should have bought the Stylus or Power.😢 Oh, the moto g 5G battery isn't the greatest. 5000mah should last longer. The 3 other people I know had this phone say the same thing. .. But, I can charge my earbuds through the C cable off this phone. If i set this phone to charge only, I can charge someone else's phone set to share connection. Does every modern phone do this?
