The 2024 MotoGP world championship has been amazing on the track but down right nutty off the track. With nearly every rider’s contract set to expire at the end of the season we knew we were in for an epic silly season. In this video we discuss the big moves that have happened so far that include Fabio Quartararo, Marc Marquez, Jorge Martin and Enea Bastianini. #motogp #motorsport #racing #motorcycle #marcmarquez #aprillia #ducati

The funny thing is, Martin says signing Bastianini was a mistake. However. if Ducati signed him instead of Marc that would've been a mistake as well. I mean an 18 point lead in the championship is not the joker you wanna have to go against an 8 time world champion. Who is absolutely destroying everyone (race winners last year) on the same bike.

Of course he says it was a mistake because he wanted the job. Haha. Ducati made him continue on a bike that Pecco decided wasn’t good enough and then he watched Bastianini get the nod. Right or wrong he’s had a chip on his shoulder since then. We shall see if Aprillia is a good more for him

The did not understand at all the part at 4:20. Pramac moving over to yahama? Why? Thanks

Pramac racing has an option to continue with Ducati but has an offer on the table from Yamaha as well to become their independent team. Yamaha is offering latest machinery basically for free in order to help develop their bike

Pramac has GP24s and the points leading rider. Pramac wasn't going anywhere.

@@CascadingDream it looks more likely that they stay than go but there has been some hurt feelings and bruised egos between all the sides and Yamaha is offering the bikes for free which is hard to turn down a massive chunk of your budget taken care of. Time will tell

I disagree Fabio is the most talented rider on the grid. He is bad in the wet and he was terrible in the championship until MotoGP. Which means he isn't as adaptable as Marc and Pedro. He lost the 2020 championship on a bike that was fully capable of winning it (see Morbidelli late season). All he had to do in 2021 was to beat Pecco who didn't even win a race till Aragon. Fabio is mega mega quick on the right bike but he isn't the most talented. "won championship on not the best bike"- Watch 2016-2018. Honda was nowhere near the front. It was being swallowed up on the straights by Yamahas.

I see your points and as I said that’s just my opinion. Fabio was fast immediately as a rookie, on a much slower Petronas Yamaha. He won the championship on what was considered the slowest on the grid. And he wasn’t in MotoGP 2016-2018. The Honda was out dragging Ducati down the straights in 2019 and Marc was dominant all season long. Fabio was one of the only riders to go toe to toe with him that year. No one has considered the Yamaha the best bike since Rossi-Lorenzo days.

@@Horsepowerrodeo I respect that. This is my opinion too. Yamaha was not even close to the worst bike on the grid in 2021. Yes Ducati was better. But in the absence of Marc, there was nobody to fight. Pecco never won a race till Aragon. The other guy was Miller. We all know how he goes. Fabio missed a wide open goal in 2020. Marc won his rookie championship that was considerably harder and Fabio had a years worth of experience. Like I said. I like fabio. He is super fast given the right circumstances but he isn't adaptable. I hope Yamaha gets better and he fights at the front. But he isn't as talented as Pedro or Marc. I mean Pedro won his first world championship race FROM THE PITLANE. Marc came back from the back of the grid in Moto3 and Moto 2 to win about 4 times. He put on slick tyres when nobody would dare and won. Fabio was frankly horrible in moto2 and Moto3. He clicked with the Yamaha MotoGP bike. I talked about 2016-18 because that's a real bike disadvantage being overcome by a rider. The season started so badly that they tested the 2015 engine again in the Qatar test. And 2015 engine was considered horrible.

@@mignik01 I agree that Pedro is special but some riders don’t have it click til MotoGP and I’m not ready to call Pedro the most talented quite yet. He for sure is special though.

@@Horsepowerrodeo In my opinion when it comes to pure talent, there is Pedro and Marc in the lead geoup. Then Fabio, Martin, Pecco. And everyone else.

@@mignik01 I think that’s a fair assessment. Marc is generational for sure and I think Pedro will be seen as the same. I’m just gonna hold off putting him on that level quite yet. But he will get there and damn he’s fun to watch. Also I really appreciate the conversation and always enjoy hearing point of views that are different than mine. So I thank you! Truly appreciated
