There has been a lot of discussion around whether all the rumors of Klay to Dallas are real or not. The Warriors hands are tied with what they could offer Klay because of Chris Paul, etc. so they don't know what funds would be available for Klay until later in FA. Klay is not going to wait for that to resolve so I do believe he wants to stay in the WC and I do believe he wants to have the opportunity on a contending team and Dallas is a team that would fit his strategy. I don't believe either LA team would be a viable contender with how strong the rest of the WC is and I don't like how either LA team is currently constructed. My sense is that the Klay/Mavs rumors are indeed true. Obviously Mavs would only be able to secure Klay via sign and trade and while they have also been considering KCP from Denver, I don't believe the Nuggets would work with the Mavs on a S&T, while the Warriors have said they would in respect to Klay given the history. This completely aligns from a number of angles. Mavs to match salary easily in a S&T with non-critical pieces...Maxi, Powell, and even maybe one young talent (Green) to make the money work. I believe Klay wants 3-4 years and the most glaring issue the Mavs had in the finals was the lack of 3pt shooting. While PJ was good, he was not able to sustain in the finals. I believe the Mavs take the chance that Klay can benefit from Luka/Kyrie dishes.

I think PG still lands in Philly and they're just keeping quiet and causing confusion because Morey has been penalized from tampering before. Klay ends up not in Golden State but can't predict a place for him - might be Dallas since he needs playmakers to play with. I think D-Lo gets traded. One of, if not both, CJ and Ingram gets shipped out. One or two of Kris Middleton, Bobby Portis or Brook Lopez gets moved.

I think you identified the two guys who are probably going to be a part in a sign-and-trade. I'm not sure where either of them land. However, my prediction is that they both end up on new California teams. My best guess right now is that Khlay ends up a Laker and George goes to the Kings. In that case, I see D'Lo and/or Rui being the big rotational piece going to the Warriors and Huerter going to the Clippers.

And Pistons sign nobody with 51 million on cap space 🤣

I think OKC is going to have to give up Wallace to get Lauri and it seems like Presti might've been gearing up for that with Caruso trade and what happened in the draft. Would be unfortunate because Wallace is going to be a really good NBA player but you have to give up really good value to get a really good player in Lauri who would fit perfectly.

I could see a nice lineup of Maxey, Lavine, Oubre, Batum, & Joel. & that allows them to still kind of beef up the bench. Bringing back Lowry, McCain, maybe take a shot at Sadiq Bey & Naji Marshall, then maybe upgrading that back up center roll. Not a real believer in Bball Paul but I really like the Justin Edwards signing though! I thought it was a real travesty that he wasn’t drafted. I think he’s a real deal professional & most likely will be an early bloomer in the league as he’s still very young! I mean, he was a lock as a top 10 pick in 2024 before the Duke season started! He’s athletic & a great defender too! I honestly think Lavine is a better fit than PG. PG can kinda be complacent & lack aggressiveness sometimes while Lavine is attack first, score first, clutch time finisher. Maxey working downhill in P&R w Embid. I can see him playing really well off of those guys as a go to bucket getter especially when teams have to double off Embid

If Klay could go anywhere, maybe Dallas. I have PG-13 staying with the Clips LaVine either gets traded to either the Sixers or Lakers KCP to Orlando is a possibility. I have a potential John Collins trade to Philly. Tyus Jones to Orlando is a possibility now that DJM is a Pelican now.

I don't think Klay will leave, he has said over and over he wants to be a lifetime warrior even if he's 6th man from here on out.. I think he'll take the pay cut. Mavericks have a small chance but i don't think so. he stays.

I think it would've been better to have D'Lo over Harden for LAC. He younger, better shooter, cost less. For OKC, more likely Collins bc he is a PF, altho they should move Chet. He too thin to be at center.

Many teams are getting left stranded by players who follow the money. I just don't understand why the NBA draft doesn't come after the free agency, so teams know where to fill their voids and draft according to their needs.
