I don't know why people are surprised. As a Wolves fan who watched over 50 games this year, we knew we were built to beat Denver. Last year, Denver also said MN was the toughest matchup.
@@nydibs exactly, i was arguing with clippers fans all year. Anthony Edwards is better than anyone on the clippers. they didnt believe me because they live in their little bubble and only watch LA.
Ya, as a denver fan i put money on the t wolves to win the series before it started. Idk why the nuggets have been off since 2-3 weeks before the season ended, but the nuggets are off. They don't seem to have a plan going into the game - they just watch and see what the other team wants to do and then figures it out over the course of the game, which is fine against mid teams, but we keep getting so far behind. I wanna see us go out there with a plan and be in control of the game. This wait and react stuff isn't going to cut it in my opinion. Lets impose our will against the t wolves.
Anthony Edward's the heir apparent to the GOAT, Michael Jordan. The Denver Nuggets had no answer to the young phenom. He ran over, under, around & through the Denver Nuggets. What an awesome performance of all time!😊
@@jevonarmagh3101As a Twolves fan.. yes reaching. Kid is good no doubt but way too early on to say all time great performance. He can be that guy but plenty of years to play to get to that list.
I do think the Timberwolves were built specifically to beat the Denver Nuggets. The Gobert trade last year really confused me. Boy does it make sense now. The T-Wolves can throw Rudy, KAT, and Naz against Nikola Jokic. They might just wear him out and win the series in five or six games.
Ive been waiting for these for three decades since I was in high school since Garnett era its time for the wolves to win an NBA ring its now the best time 😊😊😊
Ya. I wanna see my nuggets come out with a plan and try imposing our will against the t-wolves. We keep watching and reacting and i fear it wont work against starving teams.
LeBrat should just go ahead and retire. He's had more head coaches than Madonna has lovers, and Laker Nation would rather give AD a chance to lead the team.
As an impartial viewer the refs appeared pretty bias on their calls and missed calls. They need to do better in game 2 or be replaced. Didn’t change the result at least…the better team won.
Been like this all season. Yes kat is known for fould but it wasnt uncommon to have 2x free throws over us. Hell booker had 21 free throws in a single game
What made Michael Jordan unique wasn't just his vertical jump or mid range game and pretty much many players can replicate those attributes. Jordan had big hands that can palm a basketball from catching a rebound to ball fakes.
I haven’t watched a ton of nba games in years. I catch highlights, but that’s it. I was intrigued by the matchup and watched this one. Having watched prob 90% of MJ’s bulls games, I can definitely see some similarities in their style, intensity and athleticism. He has a long way to go, but he could be what people wanted Lebron to become.
So let me explain, Minnesota will beat Nugget in game 4, then go ahead and beat the next 2 teams to win the Championship! Minnesota will come back next season and repeat the same process and come back again season after next and do it again! Make it make sense. 😂
10:55 I like books. I identified a book this gent has on his shelf. When I look at bookshelves, I always gravitate towards the books that people put in Broad art mylar. "The Last Lion." 1983. Written by William Manchester. It's not a particularly rare book.
How did u known he doesn’t. They all have idol and role model. He mimics Jordan and Kobe!😂 He is trying that’s the point! Whether he is going to get there is the question. He has won nothing yet to be compared MJ and Kobe! I hope he does!
@Stev03 - Kobe had Shaq early in his career, what Ant is doing at 22 is damn impressive I’d prefer to stop the comparison, but Ant has shown he has all the tools to be just as good, he’s even an elite defender
@@nydibs let’s wait till he has something. Kobe came in as 18. Shaq doesn’t win chip by himself. Kobe carried Lakers when Shaq fouled out. Kobe won 2 more chips and respected by the league and his peers like LBJ, wade, Carmelo, KD, etc. The point is Kobe is all time great and Ant is not there yet! My other points is guys r saying Ant don’t copy MJ like Kobe. How do we know he doesn’t. I am sure they watch videos of their idols and learn to moves themselves better.
For those, whom never saw Jordan played, here is your chance, remember when Jordan came back from a broken foot and willed the Bulls to the playoffs! He had to convince the owner to let him comeback to play, they wanted to shut him down for the rest of the season!
been a fan of mj and stopped watching years ago cuz the game is sad now...but this kid plays like mike and i guarantee more peeps tuning in to watch this kid then anyone else ..mj 2.0
It’s not one game, Ant averaged 31.6 ppg and was the best players in last seasons playoffs vs Denver And 4/5 of his playoff games this year vs Phx and Den have been elite. The people that have watched Ant have been saying this for years already believe it or not
Have you been watching? 40+ points in 2 consecutive games. Only Kobe has done it before age 23. You are witnessing something that hasn't been done since Kobe.
@@edgarortiz201 Wilt Chamberlain averaged 37.6 ppg as a rookie. Of course, back then players had to finish college before being eligible to be drafted by NBA teams, so he was 23 at the time. Anyhoo, people in this internet age just loooove to hype the shit out of everything, so you might turn out to be right if Ant can get six rings like MJ did. I guess the jury’s out until he turns 28 or so Edit: I originally posted his rookie scoring average as 36.7 but corrected it to the correct figure of 37.6
@@nydibs You say that Edwards has been compared to Jordan “for years” but I didn’t see any mention of him in the MVP discussion this year. Jokic is still the favorite with Luka in the running and SGA as a dark horse candidate
Nuggets don't have a prayer beating the Wolves unless Joker at once stops playing outside so much. He's got to play down low. Duh! He's a 7-footer. Shame that so many of these trees want to be a Steph Curry and shoot 3-pointers from downtown. If Joker doesn't muscle his way to the bucket in the low post where he belongs kiss Denver's chances of repeating goodbye!
By the end of this playoffs it will be crystal clear who that ANTHONY EDWARDS IS THE BEST PLAYER ON THE PLANET, AT AGE 22. Denver has NO ANSWER for Edwards. Neither does anyone else.
I told ya'll at the start of the season that Anthony Edwards is baaaaaad! Ya'll laughed. Guess who's laughing now? Minnesota got this, Denver is done. Minnesota goin get the rings, by GOD'S GRACE. 🙏
Why are you surprised. Timberwolves roster is deeper than the Nuggets. Denver has 5 reliable players Minnesota has 8. Stop! I could break everything down about the 2 Teams. Shows like yours only educate sports fans with limited knowledge. If I took you 3, and we watched middle school kids play pick up games. Would you be able to identify who are the Dogs playing? Or do you really on someone to tell you😂
The Timberwolves are one of those teams where the sum is greater than the parts. They are good bc they all bought in and believe in each other, they genuinely seem to enjoy being teammates
At 23 THE. GREATEST. EVAAAA. Already WAY better than Jordan ever was. That's reality for all the fruitcup groupie beetchboys saying overrated pampered carried has been is his father. It's ironic. At 23 Ant is MIIIIIILES ABOVE a PRIME Jordan who without a superteam couldn't make the playoffs! It's laughable. There's not ANYTHING MJ had that Ant doesn't. Kobe is goat and this is the second coming.
